The technical skill involved with controlling this gear is incredible to watch; you make it look so easy. But, you also make me feel something with your creations. Excellent work!
As both a guitarist and as someone who loves using hardware like the digi, octa, and zoia this is incredibly impressive. Your raw talent and dedication to your craft is really inspiring man, please keep posting these jams I get so hyped when I hear a new one.
It's not fair how is he so creative? I dont understand😭😭😭 Seriously tho you should make videos of just you talking ab how you come up with chords, basslines, synth sounds etc. Love the videos!!! Keep it up!!
Aha, honestly I just move my fingers around until it sounds right, not very efficient but it gets easier with time as my ears get used to how the keyboard/fretboard sounds. OR you can be smarter than me and learn actual music theory!
Hey, I will most likely never do proper courses but I have jam breakdown videos available on my Patreon where I explain how my setup works (only 4 videos right now). I will do a setup breakdown on UA-cam at some point but I have no idea whennn. :)
It sounds so see through and beautiful. Why don't you add vocals in these amazing symphonies, your stuff would be on a whole new world if that ever happens. ❤️
Hey, the Aeros is awesome! It solved all my sync issues when it comes to looping, also the interface is super clear with great visual feedback. I wish it had some effects and I'm not a huge fan of the touchscreen but overall I think it's an amazing addition to a live-looping setup. :)
Hey thanks, I actually cheated a little bit for that, I pre-recorded silent loops that are the right lengths for each part of the song, that way I just need to switch between parts and record into those loops without having to worry about "closing" the loop in time. The Aeros quantizes the end of your loop anyway so in theory that's not necessary but I like to keep my hands free for other stuff. :)
Thanks for sharing. I like the softness and mellowness of this improv. How do you like the Aeros Looper? I am still pondering if it is worth getting and comparing it to the Ditto 4X and others. I am needing my set to be very minimalist and can only have one or two loopers at most.
Hey, for me it depends on whether or not you need your looper to be synced with the rest of your gear? In that case, Aeros all the way! The sync is rock solid, it's also great if you need a lot of independent parts (up to 6 with the Aeros). The Ditto is unreliable when synced through MIDI clock, at least in my experience. Otherwise it's quite nice, the FX are sweet and I love the dedicated volume knobs. Also it's a lot cheaper, but it seems like a lot of people have issues with it (random crashes, this kind of thing). Hope that helps!
@@Aldoistaken Thanks! This is the most detailed answer I have got so far. I do not plan to sync with MIDI (though sometimes I have a delayed tech greed making me want to expand my horizons later on)...so what you share helps.
Hey, it's a mexican Fender Stratocaster Classic Player 60, it's from 2009 and I think they changed it a little since then but you should be able to find it. :) Also I changed the pick-ups, the default ones are a bit too noisy for me.
Man, you’re great! I learn so much here. I’m signing up. Are you really multi tracking everything together simultaneously to Logic with the Focusrite 2i2?
Hey thanks for the Patreon support man, I appreciate it! And I actually use the Scarlett along the Digitakt for this. The Digitakt can be used as a 2 inputs audio interface and all its internal tracks can be recorded through USB, so yeah that's how I get the multitrack going, the Scarlett only record 2 signals as you'd expect. :)
Hey, not really, the Minilogue is a synth while the Digitakt is a sampler so the Minilogue is better for melodic/polyphonic stuff while the Digitakt is better for drum/sound design I would say.
Be honest. Do you have a robotic thumb? If so, what numerical percent of your powers do you believe are derived from it as opposed to using traditional methods (eg. Extensive practice)?
Can't imagine how it is gonna be when this dude got his own concert, every performance are just random and everybody's chillin😍
Sign me up! 😂
*beautiful as always*
Words can’t describe how much I want the microcosm
I always love your live JAMING !
I'm sure this is going to be a masterpiece. You deserve so much more
Oh thanks a lot, I already feel blessed to have gotten that far. :)
Compositionally, this is your best and most impressive one yet. You've taken loops to a whole new dimension, dude.
Toujours aussi clean et planant

Hey, I will probably do one on UA-cam in the future but I have no idea when, I already have some available on Patreon tho!
you did it again! absolutely beautiful piece! would love to see it as a soundtrack to a movie about love and loneliness in a big city
Hey thanks, that's pretty much the story of my life these days. :)
@@Aldoistaken hahah...then it definitely cuts through your music! love it! ;)
Tellement beau! J'adore le son de ta guitare ici, tellement chaud et clean!

So damn good, man.
Yo thanks
Magic!
Please Like if you think Aldo should do a course where we mere mortals can learn how to do this stuff pleaseeeeeeeeee
Hey, I will most likely never do proper courses but I have jam breakdown videos available on my Patreon where I explain how my setup works (only 4 videos right now). I will do a setup breakdown on UA-cam at some point but I have no idea whennn. :)
Excellent.Keep it up.
Thanks, will do!

So goooood!
Thanks man!
these aren't jams anymore. this fella a whole ass song.
agree
Magnifique
That reverb tho. Or what is this? Anyway the space in this. Super cool
Yeah there are a few different reverbs on this, mostly plug-ins (Waves Abbey Road Plate, Arturia Intensity and Valhalla Room). :)
Yesssss😍👍👍👍
So enjoying your jams this weekend. Awesome playing, dig the textures. How do you like the Aeros (I have one on the way)? Cheers

Dope
Je comprends rien à ce que tu fais mais c' est magnifique
En général j'ai du mal à suivre ce que tu fais aussi, aha, mais merci. :)
Beautiful man! How are you able to use the aeros hands free? I havent found a "play" CC message but it seems like youre using it?
Hey thanks, I actually cheated a little bit for that, I pre-recorded silent loops that are the right lengths for each part of the song, that way I just need to switch between parts and record into those loops without having to worry about "closing" the loop in time. ship on my heart))
what is that exact guitar im looking into buying a new one and thats exactly what im looking for
Hey, it's a mexican Fender Stratocaster Classic Player 60, it's from 2009 and I think they changed it a little since then but you should be able to find it. :) Also I changed the pick-ups, the default ones are a bit too noisy for me.

got a sufjan vibe on this one.
Nice work! Im stuck deciding between an octatrack and digitakt for ambient jams/sound design. Read and watched almost all there is.
Any advice? Thx
Hey, I would personally go for the Digitakt, the reverb is a lot better and more suited for ambient stuff, it's also more fun to use overall. :)
whoever unliked this video needs a serious vibe check
could digitakt be replaced with minilogue xd for example?
Hey, not really, the Minilogue is a synth while the Digitakt is a sampler so the Minilogue is better for melodic/polyphonic stuff while the Digitakt is better for drum/sound design I would say.

super best top_)
do u use abelton?
Sometimes for specific stuff, but I mostly work in Logic Pro X. 🙂
@@Aldoistaken thx u.
