Modding RK987 Mechanical Keyboard as a birthday gift to my brother in law.
Thank you for being there for my mom when I couldn't for her last breath. I'm forever grateful. As both of us use keyboard 90 percent of our waking time, I want to introduce you to the mechanical keyboard hobby. So happy, birthday!
Keyboard and mods -
RK987 wired, bluetooth and 2.4ghz hot swappable keyboard.
RK red switch lubed with Krytox 205g0, spring lubed with mix of 205g0 and oil based SINGER lubricant.
PCB modded with tape mod and PE foam mod.
Case filled with car insulation foam sound dampener.
O-ring silicon cushioning on all screw mounting points.
USB-C magnetic quick release adapter.
PBT chalk theme keycap OEM profile.
