Matt, I am a submarine Veteran ('87-'91). I served during the end of the Cold War and Desert Storm. I seen no action (Thank the Lord), but we was always around if needed. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING MY BROTHER AND SISTER VETERANS!! I seen this vid when it first came out, but I'm an old fart and not good with technology so I just recently learned how to subscribe and comment. Love the Channel and may our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and your family and business as you all serve him!
As a Viet Nam vet and a retired LEO, it would be my honor to donate to the K9's For Warriors Organization. Beautiful build for your friend and the K9 Organization.
As the wife, daughter, and granddaughter of Veterans and civil servant to our Nation's heroes; I thank you for being such a shining example to all that patriotism and gratitude for our freedom is still going strong! Great work Matt!
It can't be said enough but once again, Thank you for your Service and Thank you for your support to our Veterans. Thank you for these videos because I have been following in your footsteps here locally, ever since I saw your First Mallet Build Video. It is a great way of showing thanks for their Service as well as being a blessing to my heart and soul for all the Lord has provided in my Life. Thanks Matt!
This is your best video yet! The tribute to our veterans, your editing, the fact that you cite your sources for techniques, your links to tools, the in-depth instructions, showing your mistakes......you really tied it all together and knocked this one out of the park. Great job, and thank you!
Great job Matt! As a veteran myself, this was a very respectful and honorable tribute that brought a tear to my eyes. Thank you for helping to honor and support our veterans.
That was an awesome build. I loved all of it and it has given me a great idea for a project I'm working on right now. I want to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to ALL of the men and women who serve in any branch of the military. We are blessed because of your sacrifice.
Thank you for doing this. I cannot express how appreciative I am for you supporting the vets. We have way too many coming home still fighting the battle within. Many people do not realize that on average 22 vets take their own lives every day. Organizations like this are trying to lower that number significantly. They are not able to do that without the help from people like you. I am involved with other outstanding organizations that have the same mission to help our vets, if you wanted to work with others, I can get you some information on them. Thank you again Matt, thank his is amazing!
You did a great job. You could use salad bowl finish instead of mineral oil. That is for treatment of wood bowls for food. Teak oil is also a good choice for treatment for wood. Depending on the look you are looking for.
Thank you Mr and Mrs 731 for doing this for my Veteran Brothers and Sisters. I appreciate you so much. Much Blessings to you and your family. Been a fan of your channel for a long minute.
Great video! At first I thought you were forgetting to add the weights and almost instantly realized, “Show piece- not needed.” Will do my part to help reach our goal!
Great video. I work in a prison system. Our facility has a joint program where the puppies are raised by inmates for this program. When they are the right age they get transferred for there advanced training. Good stuff...
What an awesome way to honor a veteran! The project turned out amazing! And that was really cool that you brought light to a great vet/k9 organization too!
I loved the build and how it looked at the end. I think that the charity is an awesome with helping your veterans in the USA. Glad that you have reached your goal and hope that it keep on growing.
I challenged myself to make a planter box with some green fir pickets , and to instead use the miter to slot the end pieces. Each end panel slot aprox 5\8 from the end of each. Then went into the back of the now glued in miter slots when assembled, and used woodscrews to go into the endgrain in order to cause the endgrain to spread inside the connected mitered joint in order to increase it's joint strength further. Normally id NEVER screw into end grain 😅 but in this one case it works very well Its solid as a rock. Amazing mallet !
Hola! 🖐 What a GREAT video. Love the message and the build is the bonus on this one. As a vet and the father of FOUR sons serving, Thank You for your service and for bringing awareness to organizations that are there for those that serve this GREAT Nation of ours!!! On the way to K9's for Warriors right now. Take care and have a good one, Adios! 👊
Awesome work mate, love what you've done to help raise money for such a worthwhile project should be so proud of yourself, I recently helped out a friend with a breast cancer fund-raiser I donated some of my wood work projects. They had a goal to raise $3000 ended up raising $4360
lol, I have done the same with an inlay. My teen daughter got a gold medal in band and I wanted to inlay it into a cross I made her. Somehow the medal turned a little. Would think there is a jig for that lol.
Looks amazing! I've pulled the trigger on some of those sanding pads... can't wait to try one. I'm going to check out the donation link to see if they'll take a donation from someone north of the border (eh!?)
Just thought of a question to ask, but first absolutely love your channel, my question is can fruit tree wood be used for mallets or cutting boards, coasters, charcuterie boards?
Absolutely awesome, the video, the cause, mallet and display!all of you working together. I think painting the hole black where the flag went before installing would have made the look more crisp. Just a thought .
Awesome build with even greater message. We should ask failing Western societies how much are they willing to sacrifice for their own survival but I am afraid that the herd will not move a finger until it's right at their doorstep. Will it be too late? Keep these projects coming!
Hey Matt. A few months ago I asked about ones of your shirts. I can't find the link again. It's the shirt with the log laying down. It had a saw blade sticking out of the top. Had a bible verse on it. What website did you get it from?
@@731Woodworks might have been another shirt. Wish I still had the link. I'm looking for the website because there's another shirt I wanted from the site. It's one of Jesus lifting a barbell.
Super cool and actually kind of inspiring(by the way someone is pretending to be you and telling people they won the giveaway I actually fell for it and paid for shipping)
How can I get you to make one for me so I can give it to my father in law? He was wounded twice there. I'd supply you with the coins to inlay as well as the flag. Please tell how I can contact you for this.

Thanks for inviting me to be a part of this special project!

There's not enough thumbs up in this world for this video. Thank you for honoring our Vietnam Veterans. You made a very beautiful piece.
This is truly inspiring in many ways. Great project, great story, great charity! From one vet to another, thanks for your service!!
Jaw dropped at the coin drilling.
Loved Purple Heart acetone trick.

I was just wondering if you would be able to share the dimensions of the mallet head? Awesome video, really love what you’re doing!

Matt, I’m wanting to upgrade my shop lighting. Are you still liking the lights you got from Amazon?
Yes I am they are working great for me
Hey Matt, are mallets still popular? They are one of my favorite projects to build but I don’t want a bunch laying around.
Did you seal the letters before the epoxy?
Awesome build with even greater message. We should ask failing Western societies how much are they willing to sacrifice for their own survival but I am afraid that the herd will not move a finger until it's right at their doorstep. Will it be too late?

Good video as always thank you but I'm pretty sure it's "All Give Some Some Gave All"
Thanks, Coin says "All Gave Some Some Gave All"
