Jones Road is such a personal choice for each woman. For some it’s perfection, for others it’s balmy sticky, for others it’s a perfect pairing for different product lines they use. I bought a large kit for myself with 2 color palettes and multiples of each product. I’ve had it for a couple months and it’s super hydrating for my thirsty skin. However, it will be my Summertime makeup because this kind of dewiness is much more natural looking in hotter weather-and the look isn’t destroyed when blotting. ❤️ To be real, Bobbi Brown can do no wrong in my eyes, and I’m happy to have this line be seasonal to support her vision. Love her for decades!
PS: If Bobbi wants Miracle Balm to fly off the shelves, she should SPF 50 it!
So glad you are loving it. I agree...some love it, and some don't, and that definitely has to do with skin type and wants for a finished look.
I agree
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR YOUR HONESTY AND NOT TRYING TO SELL US "EVERYTHING" LIKE A LOT OF INFLUENCERS !!
You are so welcome!
I wish these were sold in stores. It’s hard to tell online what’s the best match and what formula is going to work.
I think if you reached out to them via IG, they would be helpful in deciding.
😢😊@@MandyDavisMUA
Mandy, this is the most thorough review I have viewed regarding Jones Road Beauty products. Too many influencers purchased the products early on without learning how to use them properly or understanding their intended purpose. I appreciate your honest opinion on the products and those items that stood out to you. After comparing the price of the individual items, they are relatively close to other higher end brands.
Thank you so much Lori. I am glad it was helpful!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your honesty. I appreciate UA-cam videos that are honest and don't love everything.
You are so welcome!!
I came here to see a review and I get lost just looking your natural beauty!!! Feel so good to see real woman real and unique beauty.
Thank you so much...that is very sweet.
For everyone, color pop eye shadows are amazing. Very pigmented, semi creamy powder and no fall out. I bought a large pallet a long time ago and I started using it again and I’m blown away. Of course you won’t use all the shades but it doesn’t matter because they are very affordable. Best neutral browns in the pallet I got.
Coloupop shadows are great!
I’m really enjoying my Jones Road collection. I have the Miracle Balm in 3 shades and use it almost everyday, even if only on my lips. It seems to be quite a polarizing product and people either love it or don’t like it at all. I just wish it came in a smaller size.
Glad you are loving everything! I agree…smaller sizes would be excellent! ❤️
I haven't tried Jones road but the products look quite beautiful 😍😍😍. Looks great on u ❤❤❤❤
I love all the JR products I’ve tried. I have heard the mascara and pencils were great. Ty for showing everything.
You are so welcome! Thanks Sarah.
I’m a HUGE fan of Jones Road products. I’ve been using them (I do live in a dry desert that is cold) for a few months and am obsessed. When I use other foundations I honestly miss the hydration that Jones Road gives my skin.
Glad you love them!
I totally love them too! I’ve a room that is like a Sephora store but these are the best products I’ve found for a long time.
Bobby Brown flooded the market with paid influencers to promote this absurd product. The cost alone is ridiculous and having used it I understand it really doesn’t work at all especially on mature skin. A complete rip off.
@ritaflynn2860 i used Bare minerals for years, they sold out. Now I'm using Laura Geller. But added Jones Road to my regime because my skin is very dry 😢
I wasn’t keen on the Jones Road Miracle Balm until they came out with more colors. It works best in the winter all over my face, and in summer on dry hot days. The new Miami Beach shade is gorgeous on my cheeks and lips. Thanks for the review Mandy, I really liked it.
Thanks so much for sharing Diane! xoxo
Diane I just got mine.. I can wear it all over? Before the foundation or after?
Very pretty and simple.
Gosh, that mascara blows me away when seeing how well it looks on you - long full lashes!
It's GREAT mascara!
Thanks for your honesty, I will only buy the mascara if I even bother with it, as there are many other options.
This look is gorgeous on you
Thank you Cathy!
That was great. Thank you. I have been looking at JR for a
while but could not make a decision. You very much helped with that. I m 67 and live in a cold dry environment. I think the balm would work for me and I now know the color. Thank you.
So glad it was helpful!
I love Jones Road wt foundation - totally un-dulls the face. My skin is really dry, and I love dewy. I mix it with another foundation bc it can get too shiny/luminous alone.
But to wake up the skin this great, esp for 40+. If used alone, just use less.
Very little coverage. But a must-have for anyone who wants to wake up dull or dry skin.
You look great in the products but honestly, you looked great before applying anything! I do not have your before look but do love Jones Road. Wish Miracle Balm was less tacky but I do love the natural look of the products together and I feel my skin absorbs them throughout the day making me more thankful that it is a natural line considering the skin is considered a living organ. Thank you for this review!
Thank you!
I like the peachy make up on you. Love the way you did your eyes. Very pottery. Wondering if the eye products would clog up my eye glands as I've had problems getting a stye when I use eye shadow or liner lately.
Thank you!
Loved this video. From the review of the products, to the application, to your overall look…chef’s kiss. Your skin always looks gorgeous. Thank you for reviewing so many products from the brand.
Thank you so much Jaclyn!
I like the more powdery products from jones rd. The powder blush, eye shadows-their powder bronzer is one of my favorites. The miracle balm and foundation are very sticky on my skin though, I have oily skin. However, my best friend is extremely dry with rosacea and the foundation works so well for her and actually is not sticky on her at all.
I think the powder products are my fave too!
PS. I love these products. I use Laura Geller baked foundation very lightly over the top of the WTF and it sets it, not tacky any longer and lasts all day. I have used the bronze balm all over face/neck with concealer where needed lipstick and mascara for very light make up days. I do set it with my kosas setting powder. I enjoy the mascara and face pencils as well. Eventually will try some of her other products. Thank you for the review.
Glad to hear this. I'm 62 and dived into these products a few days ago. Most non-powder foundations highlight my pores with the dreaded polka-dots, but the WTF and Miracle Blam do not and I love the look it gives me. However, I live in South Louisiana and was afraid the products would only be tolerable in the winter. I already have the Laura Geller Baked Balance -N- Brighten Color Correcting Foundation so I will certainly try your tip. I also have the colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Brush-On Shield SPF 50 that I will try also.
I LOVE the scent of the miracle balm. It doesn't smell like perfume at all.
Hi Mandy, I went all in and bought way to many Jones Road products but I just wasn’t a fan. WTFoundation was so greasy (not just oily), no amount of powder helped, the Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose is ok but I don’t love it, I tried the eyeshadows and they were ok. I actually like two of their eye brushes. Love the shade 12 of my face pencil but the texture is hard and I had trouble blending. I don’t like to give negative reports but I won’t be repurchasing anymore Jones Road. xo, Cowgirl Deb
I haven't tried any of their brushes, but they sound great! Thanks for sharing your experience Deb!
Seems like a good, honest review. You're very thorough in giving amounts of product and prices. I'm pretty disappointed to hear that the face products are tacky because I can't stand that. If there's supposed to be luminosity, then I would think a finishing powder would cancel that out, and I don't like having to add the extra layer no matter how light they are in texture!
Great brows, Mandy. The shape is 👌!
Thank you!!
I’ve been intimidated by these products after receiving them but your review and demonstration clarified my hesitation. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
This was a great review! I,keep seeing these ads pop up for this makeup. I would have to use powder as I don’t like a tackle feeling or such a shine . I am sure if I had very dry skin this would suit me but since I don’t I will be passing on this line as I know the Bobbie Brown line has some, good products. Thanks for your honesty!😊
The products look very nice on your face. Thank you for your review as it is very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Your skin is gorgeous!
Thank you!
Hello Mandy 😊Looks a nice brand Mandy 😊👍👍👍
👏🏿👏🏿💯👏🏿👏🏿
👍🏾Very good honest review!
🙏🏿Appreciate it!
You are so welcome!
Dewy skin is the best! Like your videos.
I'd say these are only for older people or people with very dry skin. I'm 68 and load my skin with oil and moisturizer cream. I put Jones Road Balm on top of it and barely noticed it.
Yep, not all mature skin types are dry! Like mine. She is opening a store in the West Village in NY and I might pop in but as someone who followed her since she was a youngin with her 1 counter in Bergdorfs 30 years ago I want to love this line but unsure.
Definitely worth checking out in store. Some of the powder products I think you may really enjoy. ❤️
You’ve done a fabulous look with the products ❤ Could I ask please … do you think the face pencil no.6 would be enough to cover redness due to rosacea? Particularly red broken spider veins? I’m struggling to find something to cover this area on my cheeks without it becoming chunky due to lots of products. Thank you in advance xx
Thanks! It would be hard to say without seeing the actual redness, but I would say it's a good solid medium coverage. If you are looking for super full coverage, I would check out the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. You need a pin head amount and it covers wonderfully!
@@MandyDavisMUA Thanks so much for your advice. I’ll check that out. Love your channel xxx
Thanks for Your honesty!
Love the sweater!
Thanks!
I agree - the Bronze MB doesn’t have much color. I am struggling to reduce the splotchiness.
Looking forward to you reviewing the powder bronzer. I want it bu unsure of the intensity of the shades on my olive skin.
I absolutely abhor products/brands like Jones Road. Because they are marketed to more mature audience they assume the following: mature skin is dry and mature skin should only wear little to no makeup. And I can’t stand that. Boom Stick has a similar marketing strategy. Mature women I know love to wear makeup. I love to wear makeup. Simply because we are over 40 or older doesn’t mean we shouldn’t or can’t wear makeup. I love eyeshadow. I like blush. I like bronzer. I like powder. But I do NOT want to look greasy in order to be “glowy.” It makes me mad when people or makeup artists like her stereotype women over 40. And just because Bobbi Brown prefers this look for herself doesn’t mean we all want to have this look. Mental head shake. I’ve never bought anything from Bobbi Brown and I refuse to now. Thanks for the review Mandy!
I do agree that thinking mature women don't wear makeup isn't aligned with so many people. xoxo
I've seen their commercials, and I think that the products look so gross and greasy. I wear little or no makeup, and I certainly don't want to look shiny or greasy. Ick. (I'm 68)
I agree with you Dee! I am 71 and i love to play with makeup. Yes, my skin can be a little drier, but I don't want a greasy feeling product on it, or that shiny look. Bobbi Brown may have marketed it this way, because she is getting older too. You are right, it probably looks good on her, but it's a pass for me.
Great review! What was already on your skin before you placed the Jones road on it? It was so lovely already.
Thanks! Just skincare and spf. I try to always list and link whatever spf I am wearing that day in the description box.
I like the luminosity of your skin before you applied the WTF foundation. What do you use to to prep your skin?
I always post my SPF in the description box which is the last thing I have on my face before makeup. And I have full skincare routines on my channel too. 😀
For me I would have to give the Jones Road a pass. I don't like an oily, glowy look. Sort of like a headlight coming at you. I would, however, love to try the mascara. That looks like a winner. I would love to see you do an all cool/pink color tone some day. I know you love the peachy, but when I look at your skin tone, I see a more cool/neutral color. I am also a neutral, so I can do either color way, but when I had a color analysis done, I am definitely a cool tone. I did order the Chantecaille gel foundation. I am so looking forward to that. Also the Cheetah eyeshadow. Thanks for doing this full product line up!
You are so welcome! I have lots of pink/purple/cool toned looks on my channel. I will be sure and do another soon.
Love your honesty. One of the reasons I like Jones Road is that it is a cruelty free brand. I'm trying to be more mindful about how I spend my money, do you have any other recommendations for other cruelty free face products?
Two of my very favorite brands of all time are jane iredale and Chantecaille. They are both cruelty free. ❤️
Thank you again for another honest review. Although your face was in full force high beam after applying the Jones Road. No doubt you are just as pretty without foundation in real life. Many reviews also state its very tacky. I always wore Bobbi Brown years ago, now so disappointing to read other reviews about WTF.
It's definitely good for those that love a dewy look. ❤️
After reading the. Ingredient list in the miracle balm I have to question the price! Maybe I’ll just add a little blush to aquaphor.
I literally use Vaseline based skin care not just now, at 48 , but for the lat 15 years and prior I used as rich creams as possible due to my extremely dry skin … maybe at foundation would work on my skin and I wouldn’t have to use as much regular skin care during daytime as I do?
Hi how does this foundation compare to the chanel water fresh or the rose inc one? Which one gives the most coverage?
It's hard to compare the two formulas because they are completely different...the water fresh and rose inc are pigment beads incapsulated in hydrating ingredients, whereas this one is more of a balmy texture. But this one provides more coverage than the other two.
I just found your channel and did subscribe. I’ve been very curious about Jones Road so I appreciate your honesty. You look absolutely lovely but some JR products probably not for me. Thank you again for you honest opinion. 😊
Thank you so much...and welcome!
Gosh thank you for mentioning your hair can get stuck in it, because I have this problem!
Can you mix a little of your foundation with the tinted moisturizer so you don’t have to use so much foundation?
I am sure that would work to add some coverage to the tint.
Mandy, can you feel the glitter from the gloss on your lips?
No, I personally can't feel any specks of glitter in this particular gloss.
Thank you!
I do have many of the products. Like them okay. My jar of wtf looks like an oil slick, I have to stir it each time….very messy. Your jar looks so different, I wonder if they changed it since i got mine last summer. I like the pencils and stick blush and eyeliner. I have quite a few of the balms, use them but they do stay tacky…not so fond of that feature. Will try the mascara when I finally run out of my mascara backups. Thank you for reviewing this line.
I am wondering if something changed with the formula?? Thank you Annie!
Very pretty look. I tried the WTFoundation but it just didn't work for me. It wasn't terrible but it was so tacky making everything that flew by stick to my face. There are just too many other foundations that I like better on me. I also tried the concealer stick but it was hit and miss. One day it would be fine and next it would be too dry. I'm sure it is operator error. I do want to try the mascara though. Thank you for showing all of these products.
Definitely try the mascara one day. I think you will love it!
What did you have on your face before you started ? You looked very shiny.
Skincare and spf. And I take shiny as a compliment. Thanks!
Hi. How does wtf compare to rms uncovered foundation??
It has been ages since I have tried the RMS so I am not sure I could answer that one at the moment. So sorry!
I have the WTF. I love it! It’s the ONLY foundation I found that made me look better than my own skin. In my 60s lines, very dry skin. It stays on all day, without moving. It does a great job of covering darkness under eyes, so you don’t have to use a conciliar - I don’t have much darkness there, nevertheless, it makes under-eye area look better. It’s very creamy. I have color Light; it’s a beautiful color. As I said, it makes me look better, without looking like I am wearing a ton of makeup (didn’t want that). I used it with and without moisturizer underneath; worked great both ways. I love it!
So glad you love it Dawn!
I appreciate your review 💗 I constantly see Ads for this make up. Love Bobbi Brown so was thinking about trying. I’m 52 with normal skin. I think I’m going to pass.
You are so welcome!
My WTF never looked like that. It was an oily greasy mess that I have to stir back together every time. I do like it during the winter when I am at my driest, but I would prefer it to be a balm consistency..it would be less messy
I did see that in some of the first ones. I am wondering if the formula changed?
Does anyone know if the Jones Road miracle balms are tacky like Mario’s skin enhancer balms ? Love Mario’s but those are kinda tacky on my skin. Thx! 💕
I feel like the Jones Road are more tacky than the Mario. I love using the Mario balm as an all over foundation.
@@MandyDavisMUA thank u🤗
Not for me. But their ads are very enticing. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
@@MandyDavisMUA ❤️
You know why I won't buy any Jones Road products? Because I don't want products that I have to experiment with for 2 months trying to make them work. They're marketed as easy breezy, but they definitely are not.
I got Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose. You can use it all over your face, as a blusher and also as lip balm. It was a disaster for me. I’m older, with lines, very dry skin. It accentuates all the lines and pores. It dried after 4 hours - even when I wore moisturizer under it - then looked a stale pink. Really unattractive. As blush it sits like a glob of oily stuff on cheeks. I liked it as a lip balm. And it has a scent that you may or may not like, ginger is in it. Anyway, tried it every which way wanting to use it, but the limitation always was the drying out and leaving my skin looking like snake skin and all a stale pink. Threw it out.
Ugh! I am in my early 70s with normal to dry skin. I tried both the Miracle Balm and What The Foundation. No way. Both were super sticky on me so I gave up. That was enough wasted $$ for me. I even saved both and used them during an Ohio winter...still sticky and awful on my skin. I gave both to my aunt who has very dry skin and she (with my ok) threw them away. I've used the Bobbi Brown products and loved all of them so it's a shame the Jones Road went off the tracks for me.
So sorry they didn't work out for you either! I definitely prefer the Jones Road powder products to the cream/balm ones.
I wonder if the scent is from the castor oil...?
Possibly. I know that does have a scent, although I have. bottle of castor oil that I use for other reasons and it doesn't have a scent at all.
I think you look gorgeous ! I'd love that natural look. It's out of my budget. I never look right with make-up. I quit years ago. Love to watch other people though.☺
Thank you Tammy!
Would the bronzer be pretty on chest, legs and arms? The sticky mess might be a bit much tho?
I may try that out but I do think the tackiness may get to me. Worth a try though!
Do you have a Jones Road Discount ?
I don't...so sorry!
I threw my miracle balm away. To me it was a useless product that did nothing but make my skin overly tacky. Maybe you could use it on your body but this one is a no go for me! I sort of like the eye shadow though…😊
It is definitely tacky.
I’ve seen other users say the tackiness goes away .
For me, it does not.
I can feel the oil from here.
LOL...it's definitely there!
You face always look shiny maybe it your lightening ..so hard to decide if products you use or your skin products .
Sorry you feel that way. I may not be the one that you feel will help you.
You sound like a nurse!
Not sure what that means, but ok.
Too expensive for a women who really need it. I bought some. Make minis more affortable.
They just came out with minis.
I'm so not liking the gooey look of all the products! I like a glowing look but oily, non!
Thanks for at least admitting that you received a commission from Bobby Brown for favorably reviewing her creepy product. It’s awful .she is a marketing genius, but she should be ashamed of herself for putting this product out. I lost all respect for her.
Not good for me and they don’t let you return it if you want to return more than one item so if you want to buy to try I don’t recommend it
Oh really? That is odd. I will have to look into that. Thanks!
I just think this looks greasy.... don't like it.
👍🏻
I think you look amazing with it.
Thanks!
