With all due respect for your opinion: it is not BMW's fault that the most likely numerous previous owners were not prepared to have the vehicle properly maintained. Anyone can buy a BMW 750 cheaply. But to have it serviced to specification costs money. It is a luxury vehicle. You can't drive it for the price of a Chrysler. Yes, you're right. Of course, there are differences in design. Not everything that BMW has built in recent years is designed to be workshop-friendly, but it is well thought out. @@JLeman-me1xh I appreciate your opinion as well but I disagree. There is a reason that BMWs have one of the worst depreciation rates of any automaker, it’s because they fall apart. It pains me to say this because my family was a BMW family in the 80s and early 90s, and then Lexus hit the market and it was all over for the German manufacturers.
