I love this storyline… the way biblical knowledge is written into the hearts of the characters leads me to strive to be better and remember the love of Christ…🙏🏽💕
I just finished listening to this story, and can hardly wait to start the next one! Thanks for all the time and effort you have put into these stories - you make them so enjoyable to just shut and listen. It kinda reminds me of the old story hour that was done on the radio, where I'm hanging on every word and wondering what's going to happen next. Jessie Is - and we all are - blessed by your work! 👍📚
Thank you so very much - that's very kind of you to say. Believe me, I'm just as blessed by Jessie's work, and it's a true blessing to be able to do this for you!
Haha Joy - that's awesome! No joke, when I first read that scene (and thinking about the narration and being in the role of Kenni), I realized that my neck and shoulders had gotten all knotted up thinking about how I'd be a nervous wreck!
I just finished reading the ebook for this today and I loved it. Now I get to listen to your wonderful voice narrate the audiobook. I can't believe it is Friday already, and I hope you have a good weekend.
Thank you very much . Listening to your series are my highlight!! It has humor, encouragement, bible teachings , love and is uplifting. It has it all ! Brilliance both in writing and narration ❤
We had a friend that was interested in photography and needed to make a little extra money. He decided to try his hand at being paparazzi. He lasted perhaps two weeks and when I asked what happened, he said that he felt dirty, that the things he was expected to do to get pictures disgusted him and he would rather be poor than intrude on peoples lives that way. I was so dang proud of him for having such high values that he couldn't do it.
Very enjoyable Christian fiction I thoroughly enjoy the delivery of the dialogue driven story the stories delivered in conversations, in-depth conversations, revealing the thought process of the individual. It’s exceptional and leading your mind to understand the depth of the person in their thought process and what they say that’s revealing to the other person sometimes it could seem like it’s too much of a story but it’s really not in terms of you really understand. You really understand the relationship and the thought process in time were the person has been where they are now and where they wanna go it’s unusual when you think about it to people getting married the way they did, but the background of the story as revealing as to why that may even bent have been a natural part of what God was providing and obviously the story is wanting us to understand that God intercedes some times for us, when we are in a tribute Letory situation, so four stars, very enjoyable
😂It's well after4:a:m and the high quality of your reading has thoroughly sucked me in .....again.I am so tired, but your reading is SO WELL DONE. I am nearly finished chapter 20, but sleep needs some attention now.
I have enjoyed this one also. I like the way you bring up characters in previous books to let us know what is going on with them. Can't wait for the rest of the story of Ellen and Travis's .
Listening to ch. 11: so funny. A good picture of farm life with kids. Stuff happens & sometimes i ask myself if I'm going to survive. Grew up in a farm & calves were my job. The cat sounds like ours -wanting to escape & now and he's an outside cat during the day.
It's amazing that the books are connected like with the old guys and Miss Agnes...I just love all the books but this one made me laugh a couple of times and is the funniest one in my opinion! Thank you both❤
Okay it really starts to drag when this book covers the cheating husband. If a guy, man, husband cheats leave. The will do it again. Shes married to a narcissist!
Anybody that knows Farmers, Farms and Farming, will know that they wouldn't "say no" in either of the scenarios where a Lady needs and, more importantly, asks for help. Normally a Farmer would ask if she needed help dealing with a Pregnant Goat who is in Labor already, not say "It's your Goat and your problem" & drive away. As for ignoring her request/plea for her Husband's phone number(By Her Own Dang Brother?....Seriously???). Family can be thoughtless, but the Brother's dismissing her request, indicates a Not Very Close sibling relationship, and the old coot who Dismissed the Goat in Labor & Bailed was not something no Real Farmer would do. He would know the trouble that could happen & seeing as he had gone to the trouble of "Saving Her Life" already, becomes rude and refuses to help, and risk the Goats Lives......That's a Dog That Just Won't Hunt. I get it that the author wants to show the life of a Farm Wife where multiple things can and will go wrong at the same time(and add Comedic Relief, when Nothing about this scenario is in the least bit "Funny") I was born and raised on a Dirt Farm in Georgia, and still live on my 'Home Place", and based on 73 years of Farm Living, in one way or another(working on this place, or working for wages on another Farm or Ranch) A Gentleman will never leave an overwhelmed Lady to her own devices in the proposed scenario. Family Members are a whole other animal & I ain't touching that one, other than to say Her Brother Is An Ass
Hi Dwight, and thank you for your comments. I think you're right that most any real farmer would bend over backwards to help a neighbor in need (and Jessie's books are filled to the brim with stories of people doing just that). In fact, Jessie (who is a genuine farmer and farm-wife herself) and others share stories in her Facebook reader chat group (facebook.com/groups/jessiegussman) all the time about helping (and receiving help from) neighbors, just like you're saying. People aren't perfect though, so I think it's definitely possible that there are a few unhelpful folks out there - and, like you say, this fictional old geezer is really there to help set up the everything-goes-sideways scene for the former princess. Anyway, I'm glad this book has gotten you so emotionally invested, and I hope you enjoyed it - we're glad to have you!
@@SaywithJay Thanks for Touching Base with me. I did enjoy the book & wil read more of her work. I'm a Binge Reader and it's so Hot this time of year, so I stay inside and either Read, or watch Movies thru the heat of the day. No specific Genre. Pretty much Anything Except Stephen King's type of (Kill, Kill, Chop em Up Charlie) "Literature" and the same goes for Slasher Films. I learned many years ago that Paying to get the Crap Scared Out Of Me didn't make sense(To Me, Anyway). On the Farmers and Farm Life "Thingy"....My late Father with an 8th Grade education, worked this piece of land that I now own, for pretty much All of his life & before he grew up, met Mama, married her(They Ran Off & Got Hitched(She didn't have a suitcase to put her clothes in so Daddy went and bought her a suitcase, shoved it in her window. She packed, shoved it back to him, Shimmied out the window, and they were still together 56 years later, when Daddy passed away at a local Hospital. That was the One and Only Time he was ever Hospitalized in his life. He had 2 sayings that I'll never forget 1-"They Ain't making any more Land, and if you've got some, Hang Onto It." My Retirement Plan is the 500+ acres that I inherited. 2-"All the poor old Farmers like us do is Feed The World, and damned few people who don't Farm, have any respect for us. They're the same bunch that think their Meat, Milk and vegetables Come From the Back of the Grocery Store" Thanks, Jay, for the reply & info on Jessie. Pass along my Compliments to Jessie. She's a fine Writer with an excellent Turn Of Phrase. I subscribed and have one of your Films playing right now & the AC on High
@dwightcurrie8316 I'm raising Cornish Cross broilers right now and If those people that think " things come from the back of the store" ever saw them, they would never want to eat chicken again. Egg layers are smarter and less horrible looking. Hehe. :)
I love this storyline… the way biblical knowledge is written into the hearts of the characters leads me to strive to be better and remember the love of Christ…🙏🏽💕
Thank you, Mary Jo! I feel the same way - Jessie is so good at that!
As someone who has medical, I found these stories easy to relax to. I have hard time relaxing.
I'm so glad you enjoy them!

I agree! How Jessie comes up with it all is just amazing!

Thank you so much, Sui! I've always loved that about Jessie's books - how she can so seamlessly connect her series like that!

This story was super cute. A lot sure happens over the space of one day!
Haha! It definitely does, Rachael! Shoot, if I go to the grocery store, do laundry, and cook in the same day, I need a nap! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you both💕😊
You're so welcome, Jan!

I agree with you. If the narcissist suddenly becomes wonderful and she takes him back then that's a book I won't be able to listen to.
Such🎉a good read.
Thank you, Kate (and thank you for your kind words over in Jessie's FB reader chat, too)! So glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, Jolynn!
While I have enjoyed the story Chapter 11 is too much.
Just listening to chapter 11. Classic Jessie fun! With Jay’s fun sprinkles on top!!
Thank you, Karina! (Chapter 11 is a little nuts, but personally I thought that's what made it so fun!)
