This is the first time I’ve listened to the audio book. I think I might like it better if I was listening while traveling. Just sitting listening isn’t really my style. The story is great. I adored reading it.
That's the beauty of audiobooks, that you don't have to sit and listen. I listen all the time, on my way to work and back, cleaning the house, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, gardening or just going for a walk. Just make sure you use only one earbud when you're outside, so you can hear your surroundings and don't get hurt. To have UA-cam play in the background while your screen is off, you have to pay extra, but I don't, I just minimized the screen and live my phone in my pocket, that works just fine as long as I have unlimited data and my power supply close by, as it drains the battery.
Love this book! Lots of humor, made me smile and laugh a lot. Thank you Jessie and Jay for another wonderful story! I laughed out loud when I got to celery and cream cheese, I thought my husband is weird for loving that combo, but I see there are others like him lol😀

Actually celery & cream cheese is a wonderful combination. Salt sprinkled on celery sticks is great for leg cramps.I think celery will be in my shopping list this week.
Honestly I love this so much especially since the main male character reminds me of so much like myself where I have moments of being immature and my jokes don’t always land but I am that type of person that would be there for people and try to be a good influence on one’s children.
I really liked this book. The humor and easy manner were lovely. I liked the chaos of the kids as well, I only have three, but many days that’s more than enough. Lol. It was a lovely read. I enjoyed the connections of other people and circumstances throughout the book, especially those teenagers. I’m still super excited to see where this series will take us!
Chapter 7. I laughed and laughed. Chapter 10 and 11. Thats me and my Bestie ... sprung! You are supposed to be resting!!!! Angry but not really, that caring, thats amore!! Loving this... i bought the hardback, but bit hard to knit and read. Love Gideons mate Baker reporte.
I finally looked all the way to the bottom. Now I can tell you, Jay how much I enjoy your performances of Jessie Gussman's books. It is hard to remember that it is only you doing this because you have so many voices. You do such a great job. Making the listening so pleasant.
Jay seems to be a modern Mel Blanc. I have attempted to come up with more than one or two voices after listening to some of these books. Jay, you do a truly great job as a single narrator.
I love this story, and as always listening to you narrate it I enjoy it as well, you have a voice that is pleasant to listen to, just like June said you need to find in the bible app :)
I'd say it's got the cutest scene ever, but I don't know if I could narrow all of Jessie's adorable scenes down to just one - plus, she's liable to top it next week! 😁
