If you use other granny square patterns with this one can they be a stitch or two off in pattern and still match up correctly to make a garment/blanket? If yes then how would you stitch them together?
If you can block them to the same size, stitching together two stitches into one when sewing together might work ok! Maybe in the middle of each side. Otherwise you could adjust one of your square patterns to have the same number of stitches on each side. Hope that helps! 😀

Hey! I’ve just started making a cardigan with these squares. I’ll have a video and pattern ready in a couple weeks. But in the meantime to answer your question, it depends what size your squares ended up being and how wide you want the sleeves. I would use a cardigan you already like the fit of and lay some squares over the largest part of the sleeve to figure out how many to use. Also for my cardigan I’m going to skip doing the armhole shaping and just have two front panels (3 and 1/2 by 2 squares) and a back panel (3 and 1/2 by 5 squares)
