The video actually shows the Princess of Wales Regiment exercising their right to march through the streets of Arundel with bayonets fixed as they were given the Freedom of the Borough bestowed on The Royal Sussex Regiment in 1954 which was amalgamated into Queens Regiment and now The Princess of Wales. www.westsussex.gov.uk/media/2505/royal_sussex_regiment_1701-1966.pdf
Angus Berwick Well that tradition changes according to the country, for example in chile it is an obligation to clap after the National Anthem is played, but if you go to Brazil is it seen as an offense. In the case of Uk I've seen people clapping after the national anthem in various events, but I don't know for sure. You'll have to ask a person with procotol knowledge
@Angus Berwick BULLCRAP! Y'all do it EVERY YEAR at Buckingham Palace during Trooping of The Colour. AND EVERY SINGLE SPORTS GAME the anthem is presented at. Screaming loyalist of Her Majesty The Queen chanting the anthem out loud then an uproar applause followed right after the last line.
I’m glad in the RAN 30 plus years ago we didn’t try to stomp the earth into submission! As a now 50-something my knees are bad enough… Having said that I’ve enjoyed being involved in parades and marches while serving back then, but you poms put on the best pomp and pageantry in the world!
..looks like the amber and black belt worn by Queen Alexandra's Mounted Rifles, New Zeahand. QAMR's guidon is also amber, instead of scarlet. Does the manufacturer supply both regiments with the same belt, or are there subtle differences?

The little kids in the front there know what's going on. Proper respect from them too even when they are so young. God save the queen
The sergeant's drills were sloppy - out of step (timing wise).
In my country there is always 1 sergeant major that checks the guards. Idk why this one have 2
Always taught me that we can not clap after the national anthem.

Sadly becoming like American crowds around the military. Clapping!!!!
Proper shocking. Just makes everyone look like melts, ruins the flow of the ceremony and drowns out the next command
