Hi Matteo & Misha, I cannot understand why your video's don't get hundreds of thousands of views. You should have your own television show. The way you present your videos is amazing. I love Matteo's history stories. Keep up the great work. Michael Valente from Belfast in the North of Ireland.
I'm visiting Italia this year. I very grateful for your advice (except for making pasta!) BTW, Barilla is not the best option. Pasta should be light yellow, which is obtained by slow drying at low temperature. And better if it is "trafillata al bronzo". Try La Molisana.
Hi Guys, we enjoy your "slow" journey through Italy. A quick question: what happened to the car what you guys bought in Sicily? And a suggestion if you end up going back to Florence there is a real hidden treasure, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure museum, a collection of semi-precious stone inlays over the centuries. Incredible beauty in a hardly ever visited museum.
Hey guys, Ale is here watching you, as always. You are in one of the most beautiful squares (Piazza dell'Anfiteatro), in one of the most beautiful cities (Lucca), in one of the most beautiful regions (Tuscany), in the most beautiful Country in the world (Italy). There couldn't be a better place.
beautiful video, thanks for sharing, think what a beautiful memory you will have, the two of you at the window with a glass of Italian wine, eating a plate of fusilli with tomato (without parmesan), in a unique square 🤣🤣🤣
What a great apartment and with such an amazing view overlooking the piazza! I love the exposed beams on the ceiling, it gives so much character! As for Matteo's dilemma with the pasta cooking time, it's worldwide. I'm from Canada and it's the same thing, whatever is written on the package for al dente is just a guess...it always needs a few more minutes!
Next time you’re back in Lucca (and not late for your bus😅), look me up and my wife and I can show you some of the hidden spots in the local mountains.
Suggestion: You posted this video in Jan but everyone is in shorts and tank-tops! My weather app says that's not likely for Lucca in late Jan. It's not a problem to post long after the video is made, but it would help my brain if you added some time of year context. Maybe to the segment titles or the video title or a pinned comment? In addition to your main focus, I also get info about what the place looks like for the time of year, what to wear, what events might be happening.
Ciao ragazzi! We buy the Barilla pesto here in Australia. Did you know they have one with Chilli? We add some frozen cooked prawns to it and it makes a great one dish pasta. I agree about the al dente...I use the box time as my first check on my timer and invariably it takes another couple of minutes but depending on if you are further cooking the pasta in another pot of sauce, you need the lead time. I like the wine tumbler idea, especially when near the computer! I waited until the end of the video to send my comments hehehe. Non vedo l'ora per il prossimo video.
This was wonderful, our internet has been out for approximately 7 hours, I never clicked so fast lol, love the apartment, the pasta looked delicious, question why do the windows have no screens? thanks for sharing the photos of when you first went to Italy 🇮🇹
As soon I came to find out that you have posted a new video, instantly I pressed the like button without even watching it 😂. BTW, I’ll watch it later but Thanks for sharing all the info about travelling. Your videos helped me a lot. Keep up the good work. Best wishes
Nice video! I live in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily for six months of the year and love it here. I also use the arrabiata sauce when making sauce and use the ground pepperoncino. LOL I've been subscribed to your channel for several years now but don't comment often. You really scored with this apartment! When I lived in Florence two years ago my apartment was 40 yards from Piazza Santa Croce, so beautiful! Gotta have the scarpetta btw!!!! Take care, Paul in Sicily
I just had to comment. My father's family came from Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily. They came to US in early 1900's. My father always said how beautiful it was there.
What a view, looks perfect guys well done. Do you guys do all your own editing and audio and can you recommend a decent editor to use? Oh btw, pasta should be “duro” “duro” 😆
hi guys! my boyfriend and i will be basing ourselves in the tuscan region for a month but not sure where we should stay. which city did you like the most while going through tuscany??
Serious question - washing clothes in the bidet? Given what they are generally used to, ahem, clean, is that a good idea? Perhaps I've misunderstood? Enjoy your travels!
Bidet are not like WCs, bidet are like any other sink. If they weren’t clean, we didn’t wash our jewels in there. Of course sinks always need to be regularly washed. Any sink.
Di sera finito di mangiare si scende in piazza e vi prendete un bel caffé. Finito si torna a casa e si va a letto. E dopo..., va beh quello non si può dire...🤣
Culinary advice: Philadelphia is good but usually is eaten on bread.. or other variarions… instead of it, try this pasta: “butter, ricotta cheese, and some pepper” .. yes it will be a coloured white pasta.. so without tomatoes.. but LISTEN.. YOU NEED TO TRY IT

🥰
Last summer video right?
It was the beginning of October! 🤗
hi guys! my boyfriend and i will be basing ourselves in the tuscan region for a month but not sure where we should stay. which city did you like the most while going through tuscany??
Pasta to the sauce, NEVER sauce to pasta, there are nonnas everywhere in Italy screaming at the telly 😂😂
Is it noisy from the piazza in the evenings; when youre trying to sleep?

Do you have information on renting that apartment?

Is it too expensive to buy an apartment there? I’m thinking on moving from Portugal to Italy in like 4 years
I sent you the link to house prices in Lucca😊
