Them removing the super secret settings is just painful. I want to play it more often... also I remember the 2014 villager one. I wish there was a way to activate it I'm the settings.
Just a "hmmm" hidden deep in the settings to activate it.

Set your local date to April 1st, 2014, and that should do it
You can! Go into Singleplayer, Enter the Settings, go to Video Settings, turn off clouds and type HMMMMM on the same screen (5 Ms) and then go back, it should be enabled

This may be an odd opinion, but I honestly think the screensaver may be one of the best one for one main reason. It is the one that I have seen the most use out of.

Kinda upset that you didn’t mention any of the Easter egg dimensions in the infinity update so I’m gonna list a few of them. (there’s a lot)
Ant: generates a large flat plane with a sign that reads “patience”. The ground is comprised of white blocks called “ant”, which is in reference to Langton’s ant.
Perfection: generates an infinite grid of 9x9 cobblestone rooms. (I’ll let you guess who that’s referencing.)
Sponge: generates an infinite world of the menger sponge fractal built out of sponge.
Basic: generates an infinite maze world. This is apparently a reference to something involving the programming language of the same name.
Blacklight: the over world spawn for the current seed but light and dark have been inverted resulting in the surface being dark and caves being bright.
Brand: a world of creeper faces constructed out of various materials.
Bridges: randomly generated end stone bridges.
Busy: generates a biome where red stone components naturally generate.
Checkers: creates a world of every colored block in a checkered pattern.
Chess: overworld spawn but the light alternates every block.
Colors: overworld spawn but the world is divided into red, blue, green, and yellow quadrants centering on 0,0
Content: sky block. Pretty cool.
Credits: full credits of Minecraft built from bedrock.
Custom: large caution stripes space with one sign reading “under construction” and smother reading “IOU 1x custom worlds”
Darkness: overworld spawn with no lighting.
Decay: overworld spawn but block spawns become less stable the farther you get from 0,0
Fleet: large grid of end ships.
Gallery: large quartz structure with sculptures made out of random blocks. Cheeky
Holes: overworld filled with holes.
Isolation: significantly interesting, I suggest you watch a video or see for yourself.
Library: generates a large library structurally inspired by the library of Babel. Guess they were more inspired than mentioned in the video.
Llama: llama flats
Message: a large space with “we apologize for the inconvenience” written on the ground in fire. This is a reference to hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
Missing: quartz shrine. Very strange.
Notes: atrocious cacophony dimension where the ground is made out of automated note blocks playing random notes at random intervals. Don’t go here.
Nothing: a single grass block floating above the void with a sign that reads “Ha! I lied!” And a second sign that reads “this isn’t nothing”.
Origin: normal overworld spawn with a xyz indicator in the air above spawn.
Patterns: binary math patterns.
The ant one is Langtons ant bruh

The site can, however, put any string you type in between some random characters, then generate a cryptographic-like key that can display the exact page again.

You forgot to mention how in the Minecraft infinity update, some dimensions actually had a rare chance of spawning an end ship that only contained a single book inside their chests with weird information written in them. Spooky stuff.

Actually, he's litterally the only youtuber I've watched as a kid that I still watch to this day. Growing older, I realised that there were a lot more absurdity to his video, but I mostly watch his videos for fun anyway. Afterall, he does own 3 whole youtube channels, all the videos on which have incredibly high production value, and his new food theory channel has become 1 of my favourites.

i actually almost fell for the library of babel bit but i was like "wait there's no way this is possible" and did a bit of digging. it's a really cute thought experiment though
1:45 so the secret settings have been removed but u can still see some of their effects when u spectate a mob like the enderman or creeper in spectator mode
yeah, also all of the shaders used in Super Secret Settings can still be accessed using some really weird trickery involving datapacks, but they are still in the code.

7:28 The reason why all the Easter eggs related to a specific season/day (e.g. special mobs on Halloween, gift chests on Christmas, and the secret splash texts in the main menu) have appeared every year so far is that they are programmed to appear automatically at specific time intervals (we say they have been hardcoded into the game). Thus, no intervention from Mojang is required to launch any of these events. Also, when checking if it's time to pull out one of these secrets, the game relies on your system clock, which means that you can set your clock to any time/date and experience these events at any time of the year.

Back then Minecraft was less of a corporation. They worked with Element Animation, played along with the Herobrine creepypasta, Had trailers made by Hatfilms, and even on 1.3 they had many different people make it.

One time I used the super-secret settings when I was younger, and it changed into the real blobby one. I did not know how to change it and I had to deal with that setting for like 2 days. I did f3 and finally it was gone.

The texture april fools update was released when the texture update is in development. It was made to poke fun of the fan response to the then, still in beta 'new textures'. It can be seen in the announcement page and the splash texts
