Wow I am glad you weren't in the tent when it came down! Do you mind me asking what brand and size the tent is? I am looking at buying a tent while we build a home so I want to make sure I know all I can before purchasing.
Well come on now, there is a rafter every 5’ you can’t let it build up like that if is snowing and you aren’t staying in it. You can see it had been snowing for a while you gotta go knock that off. That’s a lot of weight especially if that snow is a little damp.
What's the make and model of your tent?
Do y’all live in CO?

Stay safe man
did any of the brackets survive or did they band out of shape as well?
Every bracket was perfect. Just have to replace the poles. I was quite impressed.
its ur setup. if u live in snowfall areas ... u need more rafters ... looks like 3 more properly spaced out correctly would have done good.
Well now I know for next time.
