As far as the sequels go, The Crow: City of Angels is probably my most rewatched apart from The Crow. Especially knowing there’s a far better cut and edited version beneath the finished product. But yeah, The Crow with Brandon Lee always leaves me incredibly sad after I watch it. Not because it leaves me wanting more to the Eric Draven story, but I yearn for more of Brandon. We really were robbed of someone who was just getting started and barely at the prime of his life.
@@kyleday5026 The vibe of the second one is just so different, even if the story beat is similar to the first. Where “The Crow” is a dark, gothic fairytale, “City of Angels” moves like a nightmarish fever dream. The original intended ending for City of Angels actually had the lead character decide to stay on earth to try to save the Sarah character. She dies anyway so he's cursed to stay on earth basically as an undead being. He decides to stay in L.A to keep the city from ever being taken over again by another crime lord.
