Hatchiyack would be cool, but he wasn't in BT3 and isn't that much recognized character honestly. GT roster was already lacking like in every game, so them just cutting one of main villains pisses off people.

At first I wasn't into the song, but now I love it. I remember the animated scenes with that song, like Goku breaking out of his shell and people realizing he was going to unlock a new form.
In the glorious Japanese as well, English voices with the jap music is 10/10 unlike in the show it was English dub song and voice acting

It's pretty crazy they added the movie rosters as well. Deadzone, World's Strongest, Lord Slug, Tree of Might, Cooler, Broly, Bojack, Wrath of the Dragon, and Fusion Reborn. Some of those were a huge surprise.

All of these characters were in DBZ games made over 10 years ago, and with the exact same moveset it seems (as far as I can see from the trailer). It looks as if 80% are taken from the old games and haven't been changed much, except the fact that the graphics look a lot better now

In 1998, I got to my first duty location, made some new friends and they all put me onto DBZ. It was around the time where Funimation was airing new episodes in the U.S. around the time of Vegeta, Nappa, and Ginyu Force. We would all sit in the dayroom every week and watch the newest episode and talk sh*t and argue about the show, it was great. I watched in shock as the PRIDEFUL Vegeta actually took HELP from Babidi! WTF!! I watched IN HORROR as Spopovich RAGDOLLED Videl, THE SAVAGERY!!!. This takes me back to 1998. I can still smell that filthy dayroom couch. Much thanks Akira Toriyama, Bandai Namco, and anyone else who had a part in it. These are memories that I'll have forever.

Xenoverse with it's hundreds of DLCs through 10 years have only 150 chracters, and this number is already HUGE.

The game is supposed to be fun and mimic the power scale of the anime. So yeah, just give up right now, the Producer warned us more than 10 times about the game balancing.
What the ranked battle will have, is DP system, which limit the characters that you can use based on its power level.

@@marsurqt There are item boosts, just like there were in Tenkaichi 3, the Potara system returns. But you won't be able to use them in the ranked online modes. And offline you can decide if you want to use them or not.
Even after Toriyama's tragic passing this year, we have been eating well with the last chapters of Super, the Sand Land game, and now his final work Daima along with the return of the Budokai Tenkaichi series celebrating all our favorite characters and scenarios. It can't be stated enough how none of this exists without his original work. Rest in peace and thanks for the amazing memories and continued memories!

And I'm doing a Trules Vs Goku Black and Baby Vegeta Vs Goku Black. This game has everything I'd ever want in a DBZ game (except King Piccolo sadly..) and I couldn't be happier!

@@derekwst3-YGO I hope so! But they said “all playable characters will be revealed before release”. So I am not betting on it. The only way I see them getting around that is if they do a day one update and add characters but I am doubting that.
The leaks may have spoiled the surprise for some, but like others I haven’t seen them all. Im looking forward to this!

I swear, *no one* understands and respects their fanbases (and delivers) as much as the Japanese. They're just on a league of their own, above everyone else. No one stands behind their products as they do, either.
This has been the best trailer campaign I've seen since the trailers leading up to SW The Force Awakens came out. This game will be the best thing to happen to Sony in 10 years; an absolute *console seller* . I still remember buying my PS2 about 17 years ago, a week after having played DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 at a friend's house. And then in 2020, I bought a PS2 again *ONLY* because I wanted to play the Budokai Tenkaichi 3 mod with the Latin American voices.

The battle creation mode is INSANE!!! There are going to be so many awesome creations with it! I am outrageously hyped
I find it incredible that more than 10 years later the best dragon ball game I have ever played comes back.
