Me too! I didn't know who he was when he showed up BUT man that Promo was awesome! I was rooting for him. He can talk. I hope he goes to AEW and feuds with Moxley or MJF. I have been binge-watching Eddie Kingston for the last hour. He is so believable when he talks.
Got into the NWA Power earlier this year, yeah this guy is something special. Great worker, amazing promos. Hopefully AEW picks him up and has more matchs like him vs. cody.
🙋🏿♂️ I am! Never heard of him until he fought Cody but damn he was impressive! Not a big fan of the thumb tack gimmick but other than that I think he had a solid match. Wish he would've pulled off the win though. I'm not a big fan of Cody at all
@@AdolfFauci I'm not a fan of TOO MANY thumb tack spots, but used sparingly and for good reason they can enhance a match, and I feel like they did that in this case, they showed that Cody could grind like Eddie thought he couldn't, he even said on the Unrestricted Podcast that that was the thought behind the spot
Pro wrestling may be a work, but the passion in Kingston's voice when he talks about Homicide building New York. That is as f**king real as it gets in pro wrestling in the 2020's. That man is not some fake sports entertainer. That man is as real as real gets. And that is why I have all the respect in the world for Eddie Kingston. To come from were he comes from. And to battle the demons he as battled. And to own up to it. "I'm mentally ill! And I'am not ashamed to say it". That man has balls bigger than anyone you have ever met.
Everyone talks about the suicide line, but I was shook when he wasn't even fazed by the two muscles stepping up. Just got right back to being a fuckin alpha
This is a man who has a gift with the mic, a passion for his sport, and a personal history he's willing to tap into to bring pain, intensity, and anger into every word that comes out of his mouth. Long live the Mad King.
Eddie Kingston was one of those guys I never heard of till I saw UA-cam footage of him in the independence scene. The guy was unstoppable. Whenever he lacks in wrestling, he makes up for it with his skills on the mic and good lord he always is great on the mic, no fear, no intimidation, always tells it like it is whether people like it or not and he doesn't care.
Every word of it when eddie was rejected by the big companies back in the day he was not in a good place Omar pulled him up and turned his whole life around hes from 5he same neighborhood as my family I've heard a bunch of his stories
Everything Eddie said is true . Check out Homicide’s early stuff with ROH. He was in was in there with Daniel Bryan , AJ Styles , Colt Cabana , Samoa Joe , Punk, and the list goes on. And he took all of them to school. Eddie is a master of the shoot promo . I was so happy for him when he got signed to AEW. He earned it
Truer words ever been spoken . Homicide is a legend in this sport and if it wasn't for him a lot of guys wouldn't be in this business because of him . Became a fan of his through watching bootleg vhs tapes from his days with JAPW and the East Coast indys to his runs in TNA and ROH . Favourite match of his is the No Rope Barbed Wire Match against Steve Corino which was a violent bloodbath . Eddie Kingston is becoming a favourite of mine was well with his street thug attitude and never say die mentality plus on the mic he's gold .
So glad he is finally getting a spotlight in a top promotion in AEW after 20 years making a name for himself in the indies! I was so happy when I saw him in Impact in that awful storyline that just a guy with his mic talent could make great, and I was also happy when I saw he was in NWA Powerrr, but I knew he deserved a top spotlight, this is a real wrestling talent that never had a great opportunity but never stopped working hard and now talent as finally been repaid! I love Eddie because he make me see that if you believe in yourself and you have real love and talent in what you do it doesn’t matter how many time did it take but you’re surely arriving on top! #eddiekingostonAEW
Kingston is the Realest Bro, right here. This Promo was Fire/Fuego, Man.. Holy S#%t !!!! This guy doesn't care who likes him or not. (Facts.) Respect to the Mad King, Eddie Kingston..
Of all the skilled people who hold a mic I think he’s the best. Like I love Paul heyman, MJF, Samoa Joe, even Enzo Amore. But E.K. Isn’t just believable there’s real raw emotion while still being concise and not sloppy. He’s also a phenomenal wrestler!
The wrestling business would d be a lot better if we had more people like Eddie Kingston involved. He makes you believe every single word out of his mouth.
That little look the interviewer gives pope after he mentions how homocide saved him from committing suicide. It’s as if he’s saying, don’t say a word, this shit just got real
dawg Eddie is *beyond* wrestling. mad respect. Eddie went OD on the promo bc us Ny _ns_ dont play. we wear our hearts on our sleeves bc we know that nobody is going to try to stab you in wrist.
Mad Daddy Eddie is truly raw & unique. I started getting curious about him back in the summer when him & his bestie Moxley were sparring (Mox & Eddie are wrestling soulmates, in a non-sexual way), then I looked up his indie matches history & wow. Eddie is truly raw, unique, fearless & modest. I saw his match with Claudio at Grand Slam & the crowd was so loud for him (the only other Eddie I heard people chant for was Eddie Guerrero). 20 plus years later & now he's a double champion with ROH & New Japan.
I saw him on AEW and then started searching out his other work. He's quickly becoming one of my favorites. This guy is as good on the mic as anyone. He's at the Piper level of good but just different-something for the modern era.
Eddie Kingston makes wrestling real. And I don’t mean because some a hole said wrestling is “fake” I mean he pulls you in no matter who you are. That was great!
Hear how quiet the crowd goes when Eddie says "because of that man I didn't commit suicide" that is f**king as real as it gets right there.
Way to steal someone else's comment
This is the type of promo you show a friend that’s not into wrestling
Why? So they can say.... Who's the wannabe gangster with the dad bod?
Who's here after AEW bingeing his promos?
Me too! I didn't know who he was when he showed up BUT man that Promo was awesome! I was rooting for him. He can talk. I hope he goes to AEW and feuds with Moxley or MJF.

Me lol
Best promo ever I felt that when he said homicide saved him from committing suicide
Damn shame that fans don’t understand how important Homicide is to the business. He is an absolute legend and icon in the industry
Homicide is a real one. Preventing him from committing suicide.
We should all be so lucky to have a friend like Eddie Kingston
I think he's say we'd all be so lucky to have a friend like Homicide.
Listen to how quiet the crowd got when he mentioned how homicide saved his life , Eddie wasn’t lying that’s REAL. Top 3 on the mic today
If you think about it, its kinda funny that a wrestler named Homicide saved a man from suicide.
Eddie Kingston with that 🔥
You fr a mark just like me 😂 I see you everywhere actually goat
Pro wrestling may be a work, but the passion in Kingston's voice when he talks about Homicide building New York. That is as f**king real as it gets in pro wrestling in the 2020's. Eddie Kingston you’re a a wolf I love it your eyes are open your ears hearing hear mouth is drooling you’re a Wolf of New York
NWA from late 2019 to early 2020 was special
Everyone talks about the suicide line, but I was shook when he wasn't even fazed by the two muscles stepping up. Just got right back to being a fuckin alpha
Even threatened em
3 years later, he is a world champion

"Because of him I didn't commit suicide."
That's when shit got serious.
This guy is real too the fullest extent. Eddie Kingston is no joke. No fear whatsoever
Another nickname for Eddie should be BBE (Big Balls Eddie) or BBK (Big Balls Kingston) because he’s truly fearless.
Hell yeahhh homicide is a legend in my eyes. Love Eddie Kingston promos.. he put his heart and soul into it!!
Dude has been everywhere💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
This is a man who has a gift with the mic, a passion for his sport, and a personal history he's willing to tap into to bring pain, intensity, and anger into every word that comes out of his mouth. Long live the Mad King.
This is where I learned how good Eddie Kingston was.
His AEW debut was so hype. Great promo guy and great storyteller in the ring and out
Look up the LAX Civil War in Impact Wrestling🔥🔥🔥🔥
Promo skills guys watch eddie Kingston he will learn something his promo skills are off the chain best promo cutter in the biz rn
Well, to be honest, there's only one person that's better than him... and you know it.
NWA from 2019-2020 was absolute fire!!!!
I don't know how much of this was real but God damn
Every word of it when eddie was rejected by the big companies back in the day he was not in a good place Omar pulled him up and turned his whole life around hes from 5he same neighborhood as my family I've heard a bunch of his stories
This promo should be a mandatory watch for all wrestlers who pick up a mic.
Man if the NWA didn't drop the ball this man could have carried the whole company on his back. He'd have been a great World's Heavyweight champion
Hell yeah
Eddie Kingston is on the very short list of wrestlers that I can believe everything that comes out of their mouth
Man give me Kingston cm punk and heyman on the mic all day no in ring work .. I would watch them talk all day cutting promos
He earned it
Eddie Kingston is one of the best on the mic cuz he means what he says. It's a shoot.
Here after reading his piece in the Players' Tribune. Wow.
"Yeahga head, put em both in front of ya,ga head!!!"🤣🤣🤣EDDIE!!!
God this guy is a promo master
Long live the Mad King Eddie Kignston!!!
Kingston will definitely be celebrated as one of the all time greats for years to come
Truer words ever been spoken . Homicide is a legend in this sport and if it wasn't for him a lot of guys wouldn't be in this business because of him . Edge, MJF, and Kingston are some of the best mic workers in the game right now.
As great as MJF is, he gets cartoonishly evil. Eddie feels legit.
67 seconds is all it takes
There aren’t enough bottles for all that lightning. He cuts them like hardly anyone else.
Eddie Kingston with the bars at the end 🔥 this man is GOLD
That’s what I love about eddies promos, you can’t one up them when they’re that real
I agree! His upside and potential is huge!! He’s the authenticity we’ve been missing in this sport...
Kingston is the Realest Bro, right here. This Promo was Fire/Fuego, Man.. Holy S#%t !!!! This guy doesn't care who likes him or not. (Facts.) Respect to the Mad King, Eddie Kingston..
I hope homocide knows how much he means to Eddie, this promo probably made him cry
King of the Bums
When you cut a real and heart felt promo that even your body guards are left in awe
The wrestling business would d be a lot better if we had more people like Eddie Kingston involved. He makes you believe every single word out of his mouth.
Dude this is typical NYer from the 90s. He is not acting. This is 100 percent him put in the context of pro wrestling
I love Eddie so fucking much.
that promo was so incredible because it was a shoot.........he was speaking straight from the heart!
What a fucking promo. When he mentioned how he saved him the crowd went dead silent. Intense and raw.
Mad, bad, dangerous, beautiful Eddie...I could hear him cut a promo on the phone book and be happy. And I'm so glad he's doing his thing in AEW.
Eddie Kingston soo lit on the mic my god 🔥
King of promos
That little look the interviewer gives pope after he mentions how homocide saved him from committing suicide. It’s as if he’s saying, don’t say a word, this shit just got real
A new promo god is born..or should I say king...( Kingston)🔥🔥🔥
I knew Eddie before he was on AEW and NWA, this man made an impact when i first saw him
Chills! This man makes it all feel so real.
Instantly turned me into a fan
Yeah I wasn't familiar with Eddie until I saw this episode of Powerrr. Now I can say with confidence that he's one of my all time favorites
I cry for you and I die for you Eddie Kingston.
He can snap from being funny to serious in an instant
Top tier promo worker
Eddie is a legend! Excited to see him on aew!
i miss 2019-early 2020 nwa
This promo is 100% old school raw. Really felt like the old 80’s promos with all that emotion
Personally, I got more O.G. ECW vibes from it
Sage Sarrazine I could see that too, I like when you can tell they really give a damn about what they’re putting out
When you're one with your emotions and you know how to channel it.
dawg Eddie is *beyond* wrestling. mad respect. Eddie went OD on the promo bc us Ny _ns_ dont play. we wear our hearts on our sleeves bc we know that nobody is going to try to stab you in wrist.
I like how the wrestlers from NWA,AEW,IMPACT and others are allowed to go from promotion to promotion
Eddie Kingston on the mic is a different breed
Mad Daddy Eddie is truly raw & unique. I started getting curious about him back in the summer when him & his bestie Moxley were sparring (Mox & Eddie are wrestling soulmates, in a non-sexual way), then I looked up his indie matches history & wow. Eddie is truly raw, unique, fearless & modest. I saw his match with Claudio at Grand Slam & the crowd was so loud for him (the only other Eddie I heard people chant for was Eddie Guerrero). 20 plus years later & now he's a double champion with ROH & New Japan.
He is fucking unreal. I'm on a video binge right now of Eddie!
One the best talkers in the game shame he'll never be world champion
He should go to mlw
why do men named eddie, in wrestling, have the power to make you laugh, cry and get hyped in one minute?
That t-shirt is dope!
Best promo ver
AWESOME EDDIE KINGSTON PROMO FOR NWA POWER !!!
Love the shirt he's rocking.
I saw him on AEW and then started searching out his other work. He's quickly becoming one of my favorites. This guy is as good on the mic as anyone. He's at the Piper level of good but just different-something for the modern era.
Why am I crying?!
Phenomenal
Eddie is the best on the mic right now! He's doing great in AEW
Fuckin love Eddie Kingston promo goat for sure.
He got too real for the crowd there
Damn shame this rivalry never got to really fire off.
Long live the Mad King 🫡
Back when nwa power was good
I'm here after he owned CM Punk with that 🔥 promo on AEW!
Yeah. NWA should of have put the 10lbs of Gold on him. He could've been the Modern Era Ric Flair. Respect.
kingstons the best man wtf
God nobody can touch this man on the mic
I'm glad that Eddie made it to AEW and is making that big company money now.
Respect 👏👏👏👏👏
Eddie Kingston, being 100% real
The Dawsons just standing there slackjawed
Real recognises real
“I’m being a good boy!”
Holy fuck.
This promo
This was so fucking good!!!
Eddie Kingston makes wrestling real. And I don’t mean because some a hole said wrestling is “fake” I mean he pulls you in no matter who you are. That was great!
Eddie was great in NWA, sure, but he's on some NEXT-LEVEL SHIT since he joined AEW. Dude outpromoes EEEEEEVERYONE now.
