Hey Doris, its so great to see how far you have come in truly a short amount of time. I will continue to route for you in completing this task. I also believe you really do not have to explain yourself anymore to anyone on any of your future projects, we all need to ask for help once in a while. Great Job !!!!
As a mechanic with 20 years on the job i can just see you deffinatly have the skills and passion to do this, not only that but bring it to a good end as well!well equiped garage and superclean, that's what seperates the good from the bad!you seemed to appoligise for taking your time and dubbel checking everything, but that exualy is the best thing for a mechanic to do,my teacher back in the day always told me i would be ok because i have the patience for it😉 nice job!!!
Thank you. That means a lot. I'm still learning and I know I'm way over my head, but I'm also taking my time. This helps me regroup my thoughts and plan of action. Having patience is key..very very true. Thanks for watching!

I was a ford tech for years and cant even remember how many engines I've pulled with that being said most techs if not all techs have bumped their head on the " looked like " the lift arms which it looked like you did in the very beginning lol .. Now you are a true tech ... Good job ..

Sump plug bald spot anyone? I took a nice chunk of scalp off underneath a Mitzi GTO (3000GT for my US friends) by scraping my head on the edge of the Sump bung head
The fact that you’ve never done this, and are jumping in with both feet and a positive attitude, is amazing. I’d never have the courage to even try this. I’m really going to enjoy watching this project!
Good Job, I've removed plenty of engines and I still miss things sometimes it happens. Good job and getting help only a fool wouldn't get help, and good job reading the manual, I never read manuals when I was younger and have broken parts to show for it. Furniture dollys are great aren't they, I used them to move my truck's cab when I had the body off the frame. When you do disassemble the engine mark each connecting rod so it can go back in the same spot, very critical if you reuse them. Keep track of where your valve train parts go so they can go back in the same spot. Get yourself some plastic zip lock bags so you can mark bolts and parts to keep track of them. Set the crank shaft up on it's end don't lay it down without protecting it. Just a few things to keep in mind, I hope some of the other people bring up other points as well. Keep up the good work.
If I need help, I will seek it. I gain nothing by staying quiet lol. Good call on the labeling. I will be sure to include that in my method when taking apart the engine. Everything I do there will be highly critical. Thanks for watching!

It's great to see you invested in yourself with the proper set up (lifts, tools, space, etc) to do any job! For this job why wouldn't you ask those that have done this? That would not have been smart you did the right thing find out the best way. The manual is a guide you follow it best you can and do what works for you or what makes sense, especially raising it a little and doing checks every lift.
You did a great job! And don't worry bout that sensor! You can buy or new one, or barrel crimp it. Either way, amazing work!!!! Now replace those piston heads and nitride those cylinder walls!!!
I wish my daughter had picked up some of your automotive ambition. Years ago I bought her first car and she purposely blew the engine because she didn't like it, lol. Enjoy the experience and satisfaction of doing the job yourself and I look forward to seeing how your project works out.
This is awesome! This whole series robs us of our excuses. You were nervous and apprehensive but you dove in and you’re getting it done! This video inspires confidence. Thanks to you I’m going to go put this line lock in! Should be interesting
Why did ford “deny” your engine? Engine seemed rather new .. why did it need a rebuild already? Doesn’t inspire much confidence in ford watching this video!!
Ford has dropped the ball twice now. First this 5.2 Voodoo is a failure prone disaster. Now the 3rd gen 5.0 Coyote is a piston slapping oil burner. There's something wrong at Ford.
I stopped buying “American” a long long time ago lol but I found out had she not tuned it or messed with stock equipment they would have happily replaced this engine under warranty. That’s not to say it’s a great engine to begin with but hey a free engine is a free engine. So the lesson is dont tune or mess with the stock equipment while in your warranty period!

This is an amazing undertaking. I'd normally expect to see 2-4 people tackling a project like this. So more power to you.
You can do this 😁 no worries
Thank you! I have help from others and Ford techs and for them I'm grateful for tackling this job.
@@woman.driven That's awesome. Just take your time.
So georgous and articulate, hope she dosen't get any silly tattoos.
Are you saying you wouldn't be accepting of a full explosion diagram of a 429 boss on her lower back, complete with cam timing figures?
It's great to see you invested in yourself with the proper set up (lifts, tools, space, etc) to do any job! For this job why wouldn't you ask those that have done this? That would not have been smart
you did the right thing find out the best way. The manual is a guide you follow it best you can and do what works for you or what makes sense, especially raising it a little and doing checks every lift.
After this you deserve an honrary phd degree in advanced mechanics
👍😉
Put long tube headers on before you put the engine back in.
You read my mind.
One hell of a job. My hat off to you. and you're pretty fast! Good job!
Absolutely incredible woman you are. You are attractive yes very much.... but your ambition is the icing on the cake. Rare.
The girl is so smart a dream girl
You rock, Doris. I am not surprised that you handled this so expertly, but I am still in awe of your amazing expertise! Much love from North Texas!

That's the best part ♥️
You did a great job! And don't worry bout that sensor! You can buy or new one, or barrel crimp it. Either way, amazing work!!!! Now replace those piston heads and nitride those cylinder walls!!!
"so lets get started" doesn't get started and keeps talking -.- k
You are an amazing mechanic. It doesn't hurt that you're a total hottie.
I wish my daughter had picked up some of your automotive ambition. Years ago I bought her first car and she purposely blew the engine because she didn't like it, lol. Enjoy the experience and satisfaction of doing the job yourself and I look forward to seeing how your project works out.
I love a girl that love to turn 🔧 wrenches🔧 on car's...
😂
I’m a tech in Chicago area do you need an assistant?
Perhaps. I will have questions in my next video about taking thing apart. It will be open for comments of any help.
Just wanted to say you are admirable! Keep up the good work👍
Love the energy and the attitude. You're an inspiration. I was curious how the engine drop was done and now I've seen it. Thank you!
The perfect woman doesn’t exist-
*Woman Driven exists*
NEVERMIND
DAMM..... so sexy to see this beauty woman workin on a car... she’s a keeper for sure
This is awesome! This whole series robs us of our excuses. You were nervous and apprehensive but you dove in and you’re getting it done! This video inspires confidence. Thanks to you I’m going to go put this line lock in! Should be interesting
I hope you can find a girl partner like Goonzquad UA-camrs... so it will be more helpful for your car projects. :)
That would be awesome!
Uhmmm...was there supposed to be something about a car...?? All i saw was her...
Love how clean you work ... Great job girl Keep it up.
Having faith in a Ford was your first mistake!
@@topherd1011 it just depends. Ford doesn't stand behind their flawed products like they used to.
