That was the best tutorial on gilding a piece of furniture I’ve watched. Thank you so much! I’ve bought two mirrors on Etsy and have two of my own which need reviving. I wanted to try gilding but hadn’t a clue! Thanks to you, I’ll get the job done . What you have done looks exquisite by the way 👏👏👏
That is a nice job. There is a cabinet on offer up just like the one you have. It’s missing that center crest and some other parts. They want 80.00 I hoping they will go lower. Enjoyed your video.
Enrique Mireles Thank you so much! I picked this dresser up for $75 and was able to flip it for $450 just to give you an idea. It’s one of my favorite transformations. Best of luck if you happen to snag one like it. They are so pretty!
Hi Natalie! I have not tried applying this paint to smooth metal. I don't have any first hand experience with it on that material. I have seen people paint their front doors (some made of metal) with this paint with good results.

Thank you for watching! I'm glad this helped. Gold gilding wax adds such a touch of elegance. Best of luck with your mirrors.

Have you ever put it on metal to change the color of the metal?
I have not used this paint on metal. That would be interesting.
Can I apply this to varnished wood?
I don't see why not. It will take a few days to cure. Just keep that in mind.
You are beautiful, so is the furniture
Have you tried this on smooth metal? I find it doesn't adhere well and applying a 2nd coat takes off the 1st :(
