could you make a sheet metal playlist some time? I know you have several videos. I would like to be able to find them all at once or have them for quick reference.
Hey Toby ! Thanks for the solve video on this sheet metal part . I really have a much better understanding of the jog feature now , especially the "fix projected length" option . That will really come in handy .
Another great video! I've watched 14 of your tutorial videos now (in latest to older order) and all of them are great. You are way under subscribed imo! Also, when I search for "solidworks tutorial" here on youtube, your videos are sadly not listed. Only reason I found your channel in the first place, is because your channel was recommended in a video by another channel. I'm not sure why this is. Perhaps the algorithm isn't prioritizing your videos because they don't have ads? I for one, would absolutely and gladly watch your content even with ads turned on. I wish that you would get the kind of exposure that you deserve. I am very happy that I found your channel. Pure gold and so much better than most other SW related channels I've come across! Thank you for your awesome content! P.S. Subbed after watching the first video.
Thanks for the kind words and the suggestions! Sorry for the late reply. Glad to have you here in the channel and lots of great things to come! We are just getting started!
The FASTEST way to create that part would be. 1. Design 1/2 of the part, as you proposed 2. Design only one top view drawing (you already have the flat view) and then bend all the tabs up and down as you wish. You forgot you can do that with SW as well =)
Killer tutorial! I will pointing several people to this one. Thanks Toby!
Thanks Chris - I'm happy with how this one came out!
Thanks for a detailed jog feature description
Aww yeah you're welcome!
This is awesome, I have no real clue about sheet metal so far. Comes in really handy to learn.
Nice - Glad this helps! Thanks Flowie!!

Good Job Toby! I have been following your videos… I enjoy sheet metal… Solidworks all the way!
Thanks Robbie! I love SW but I'm starting to experiment with some other 3D CAD this year too! Excited to see what else is out there!
@@TooTallToby well guess what ! I have finally decided to get started on Onshape CAD software… I’m going thru the learning paths right now…
@@robbiebettilyon5304 Maybe I'll see you in there! 😁

Perfect! I learned a lot about the Sheet Metal function. In particular the jog command.

Great practice model, nice to have more sheet metal videos, and by the way the panning trick to check faces are flush is really on another level 😂
Thanks Frank! I agree that PAN to check flush is TIEEEGHT!!
