Seems I recall Chuck (notime2bsad) bought his mom one of those and within a few weeks she managed to roll it onto its side trying to go up an incline into her driveway or something at an angle a bit too fast.
At some point, I'd love to bring my autistic buddy to Thailand to live for a year or so. Something like this would be perfect for us just to zip around Jomtien. He would NEVER get on the back of a motor bike because he has issues with touching other people. But if he had his own seat, it would be perfect. I always envisioned a motor bike with a sidecar (like those delivery bikes) but I'm pretty sure those are illegal (at least for falangs). He loves nightlife and crowded places. The overstimulation seems to keep him entertained. He loves New York and Vegas. Pattaya would be like a playground of stimulation for him, just in a VERY different way than it is for most guys, haha.
Another valuable instructional video. If they can work the kinks out of this Three Wheeler and give it a bit more power, it would be a help to the many medically compromised visitors such as myself.
''Let's go drink '' ''Wonder who's Buying'' 🤣I miss Thailand .But seeing Pattaya now (which i swore blind i'd never visit a few years ago long before covid )Nice to see the place more busy ,Just for the locals alone trying to make an honest living 🙏I think everyone should ride those things ,crossing 2nd road back in the day when heaving would be a sinch now 😁
Great video lucas I've seen those in Thailand 🇹🇭 I think they're great for people who can't ride a motorcycle or have disabilities 👍🏼great information thank you 🙏
That three wheeler is like a cross between a narrow golf cart and a Tuk tuk. It would be cool to build an easily removable snap on roof and zip on/ snap on canvas side walls for rainy weather. I like the idea of something like this for the motorcycle taxis as long as it’s narrow enough to get thru traffic and has enough range or easily interchangeable lithium ion batteries.
Flash backs of the Mr. Magoo cartoon with that music and scooter. Im surprised it was comfortable being your knees were hitting the dash. Thanks for the video Mark 🫰
Absolute nonsense. I have been riding motorcycles for 50+ years, including 8 years of bike ownership in Thailand, and the ONLY significant crash I've experienced was as a result of my reflexes being tuned to a two-wheeled bike, while riding a three-wheeled tuk-tuk. It was significantly wider than that electric toy, which is quite long compared to its track width. They are inherently unstable, and multiply steering input in a way which will cause you to tip over - and it's like high-siding a motorcycle, and will slam you into the pavement. Ignore this at your peril...

I imagine as a regular bike rider it might be more difficult adjusting to weaving in and out of traffic, because you are carrying a wider load in the back. I was thinking about getting a trike from a larger bike (maybe 350) with adjustment made for me. A company that used to be in Pattaya, but now in PKK custom builds them, and can put foot pedal brakes, and move the gas handle to the left side in my case.
The three "speeds" just regulate how fast you can go. An electric motor has constant torque throughout its RPMs. So you don't need to downshift any transmission when you hit a hill.
I like that thing...do you happen to have the name/link of the dealer it was originally purchased from ?? I use an electric wheelchair at the moment but it will only go 5 miles on a charge and max speed is 5 MPH. Thanks in advance Bro :) :)
Well, right now I don't feel old or handicapped enough for a ride like this, but I know about the importance of safety. So I wanted to buy another three wheeler, the Yamaha Tricity, seen a few in Pattaya on the road but unfortunately not longer available in Thailand. 😔
im not old or handicapped , just lazy , these immobillity carts allow me to go intoo pedestrian zones and shoppingmalls and park verry near the entrance of a shop ,eazy to load a bag full of goods in between youre legs on the running board too , it beats the socks of an electric bicycle both in price and eaze of use , youth doesnt want to be seen death on one of these carts so they dont get stolen as mush as electric bikes either
It’s a great looking bike it would be handy for someone like me I had surgery on my head I was told not to get on motorcycle every because if my head hit the ground it would crake open like a egg so this would do me for short trips like down to the shop r the beach r the pubs 😅😅
That scooter reminds me of that William S. Burroughs question “ …if you had your choice, would you rather be a poisonous snake or a non-poisonous snake?”😂😂😂
That was a fun show Loucous !! Do you ever see any of those 3 wheel Can-Am Spyder's in Thailand ? They are the sporty bikes with 2 wheels in the front 1 in the back !! Amazing bikes !!
Thanks Lucas & Lovely Lady great video on the electric scooter not really for me YET 😅 Maybe another couple years I hope. But interesting to hear your expert opinion been a bike rider. As you usually you had a bit of fun as well. Keep up the great work Cheers Irish Paul
The choice of music for the driving footage had me smiling. Funny:) Looks like a neat alternative for the right person. Even if you're single, I could see where the backseat might be good for when you maybe go to the market or the grocery store. Thanks for sharing!
I think that the makers need to get some help from the European mobility makers to get the power to drive ratio perfected, yes they are power ratings not gears.
I like the 3 wheeler. Thinking for 30,000bht aka $1,000usd. This would be fantastic for here in Kamala Beach ⛱️. We will look for a dealer or buy and ship it 😊
Hey Lucas, quick question: If this considered a mobility scooter and is running on battery, do you need a licence to ride it? I’ll be there in a couple of days hopefully see you around for a beer mate.
Interesting three-wheeler. Probably made in China. I believe I purchased their electric 2-wheeler for my gf. Has the same instruments like the 3-wheeler and the same annoying Beeper noise when you indicate to turn. I had to put it together with no manual instructions in English or even Thai. Anyway it runs ok.
hmmmm interesting .... looking in to an electric scoot for the Mrs... (she doesnt have a mobility issue) thinking of a 2 wheeler (electric)..... but good review and thanks cobber.... out of Pattaya now ... will be back in October for 6 months so when I get the 2 wheeler will give you a 0-20 drag race.... 555555
think if shes moving around good enough an electric full size scooter with two batterypacks would be the best option , you need a place to store and charge it , the scooter is eazier in that as you can lift out its battery pack and take it intoo the house , the immobillty carts usually have the batteries bolted down under the seats
Good deal for 30k if you have mobility issues. I have a vehicle license, but not a motorcycle license. Do you need a motorcycle license? It seemed that you were not wearing helmets so I am not sure if it is a licensed vehicle. I am slightly confused, but thanks for the video.
You've always talked about how important it is to use the helmet, but now it doesn't seem important anymore. Why? I drive a motorcycle myself and would never drive without it in Sweden or when I'm in Thailand. Micke🇸🇪
What's the weight limit on that thing? I'm betting if you have 150 lbs.😏 on it, it will ride better. and I'm guessing you have around 300 lbs. now, with the 2 of you.
great to see ONN & the always camera-shy MICHELLE
Wtf are you talking about ? Bebe (Michelle) makes love to every camera she sees.

Do they have that in a gas model. It seemed to go good with two people .i am a amputee. It would fit my needs.
