WHO AM I:
I’m Ben, a graduate structural engineer. I make videos about tech, engineering, productivity and self-development. On this channel I hope to provide entertainment, advice and knowledge for aspiring and young students and professionals.
Thanks for creating such content man we learn a lot gonna try these websites I remember during college days we have to find PDFs and Codes for different materials and sections now we can get that just in one search Technology is really evolving crazily

Getting your degree is the key to unlock this video. Still useful even after graduation.

Thank you hielscher for websites it is very useful websites love from india🇮🇳
My pleasure!
Thank you for your vid!!
Have you found one for rc beams and columns?
My pleasure! For RC beams I use my own excel spreadsheet (which you can download (fyi it’s not free)), see the link in the video description. For RC columns I haven’t found a good free program and use paid software currently :)
@@BEngHielscher I have some mathcads calculating columns since I also am an engineer.
If you want I can send them to you by email and if you find them intresting and you could change them a little to make your own Excel. I would love to trade them for your RC Beam excel.
And if you den't then it is always a pleasure to hear from an honest engineer 🙂
Thanks for providing useful info. God bless you
My pleasure! :)
As always, your video is both fantastic and packed with valuable information. I'd like to contribute to your list by mentioning STRIAN-Online Structural analysis, which is free and easy to use for performing structural analysis like providing bending moment diagrams, shear force diagrams, reaction forces, and deflection .
Thank you and thanks for adding this one!
strian used to be great, recently they upgraded to a 2.0 version which is full of bugs and not reliable at all..thats my opinion. would be cool someone review it
Make a video about most common software used for post tensioning of slab or beam.
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll add it to the list :)
Can you make a video about softwares and tools used for indian standards if you have any idea towards that?
Very interesting useful video 🫡🫡🫡
Thank you!

Hello brother. I have completed diploma in civil also got degree in civil engineering this year. And now took admission for Mtech in structural engineering. Can you guide me for study techniques, and for enhancing utmost knowledge in various angles of the field...
Thank You 🙏🏻
Such a wonderful informative video I loved it 🫡🫡🫡🤗😘
Can an architect design small structure? For example, small room or house, canopy, stair or overhang
In Australia, where I work, architects don’t design any structural elements. They can propose what they would like to see but the engineer has the final say. Most of the time this is a collaborative process :)
Hello BEng can i do master of structural engineering in Australia 🦘 if i m graduate in civil engineering from Nepal?
Can u upload software tutorial like staadpro, sap2000, etabs
Thanks for letting me know you’re interested in something like this. I have a few ideas for something like this… stay tuned :)
Is Bim a better option of freshers rather than go for masters in structural
These are two different options. One will lead you to becoming a drafter and the other to an engineer. Depends on what you want to do
What is your qualification master or bachelor
Bachelor with Honours
I think it's just Normal that we make excel sheets or even use python for basic operations like this.
It would be good for your own learning to do this but in the spirit of saving time these websites are handy
when will you make a full video of designing and detailing of a real project. waiting:)@@BEngHielscher
Oh yeah, I completely forget if you already graduated and now in new place. Not that place that kinda iconic to me 😅
