    Hochdeutsch= Standard german, glaube ich.😊
    Auf Spanisch sagt man oft „entiendo“. Comprendo sagt man sehr selten.

    • @learnenglishwithsandra
      @learnenglishwithsandra  Рік тому +1

      Danke für deinen Kommentar😊 in der Schweiz nennen wir es Hochdeutsch,um den Unterschied deutlich zu machen. Bzgl. „entiendo“ und „comprendo“. Ich habe im Video erwähnt,dass die Menschen eigentlich „entiendo“ verwenden,aber im Sinne der Brückenbildung habe ich „comprendo“ verwendet,um die Ähnlichkeit der romanischen Sprachen zu verdeutlichen.

    Why does Swiss German have many Helvetism words that do not exist in Standard German???? 😊😊😊

    • @learnenglishwithsandra
      @learnenglishwithsandra  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for your comment😊 Linguistically, Swiss German belongs to the Alemannic dialect together with the dialects of southwestern Germany and the German dialect in the Alsace-Region in France. This common origin is a result of descendants of the Germanic tribe Alemannen, which settled in southwestern Germany and spread to Alsace and Switzerland. Nevertheless, there is no uniform Swiss German dialect - rather every canton (comparable to states in the US) has its own dialect. While Swiss Germans typically understand the different dialects, the Germans have a hard time to do so. Hope this answers your question😊

      I‘m not sure if you meant this:
      A woman and her son visited his grandma and he got sweets.
      If it was this,then I would say it like this:
      E frau und ihren sohn hen s’grossmami bsuecht und de bueb het süessigkeite kriegt😊☺️
      What you wrote sounds more like a dialect from Basel,but I don’t know where you got this sentence from or if you maybe even speak Swiss German yourself😊

    • @learnenglishwithsandra
      @learnenglishwithsandra  Рік тому +3

      I‘ll go from 1-7 with 1 being the hardest to learn and 7 being the easiest to learn.
      (1) French
      (2) Swiss German
      (3) German
      (4) Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian
      (5) English
      (6) Portuguese
      (7) Spanish
      This is only my opinion and other people might perceive it differently😊

    That's impressive! But I really cannot understand how a Swiss polyglot can speak 7 languages and none of them is Italian, one of the official language... sorry, but Italian should be learned before Spanish or Portuguese. This is my point of view. Greetings from Ticino.

    • @learnenglishwithsandra
      @learnenglishwithsandra  Рік тому

      Hi,thanks for your comment😊 yeah, I agree with your point of view, however, we had to choose between learning Italian and Spanish in high school and since 95% of my classmates (including me) chose Spanish at the time, we had Spanish classes. There was a hype about speaking Spanish and everyone wanted to learn Spanish. But I don’t think it would be too hard for me to learn Italian now😊 maybe that could be my new challenge😊

      I‘m talking about my life and how I came to learn each language. Swiss German is my native language because I‘m Swiss. German is the official language because in Switzerland all the books,TV programs,letters from government,instructions in stores are in German. I speak Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian because my parents came from Ex-Yugoslavia to Switzerland in the 1980s. I speak French because I learned it at school but also lived in France for 3 months. I also speak Spanish because of my school and my time in Barcelona with a host family. I speak Portuguese because my husband is Brazilian😊
