      @Wilson Anderson The most difficult on the ones I am learning is def Russian and Japanese. Italian is easy if you are acquainted with some romance languages so that is close to one of the most easy ones to learn atm. German is easy as well, except the grammatical cases and the time I dedicate to learning a language? Just about 2 hours a day or 1 with good technique. Technique really matters so research that first. And yes it is kind of confusing learning 2 languages at the same time, but you will be able to separate them if you focus. GL.

    Also learning to speak Tamil from a young age likely gave you a good foundation for some other Asian languages.
    I found the connection between Tamil grammar and Korean to be fascinating. I have lived in the Chinese speaking part of Asia for many years, but I find Korean to be very challenging. Looking forward to watching your other videos.

      The part of her speaking German, she literally addresses her not being able to pronounce the H properly. So I don't even think she would agree.

      100% she did much more than that but probably wanted to make it sound cool by saying it. She probably has a talent for languages but just watching a serie does not make you fluent, irrespective of how talented you are. Don't worry and keep working hard!

    • @user-tm3vt6vm8e
      @user-tm3vt6vm8e 3 роки тому +20

      @@shgdkj it does actually. I know a girl that can speak Korean very well (she’s now beginning the writing) JUST by watching years of drama. Same for 2 guys that learned Japanese JUST with anime (ofc their Japanese improved after speaking to people)

    • @shgdkj
      @shgdkj 3 роки тому +13

      @@user-tm3vt6vm8e I think there'll always be something more than just watching. For instance, how on earth could you gain enough vocabulary to be highly fluent without puttin the effort of memorizing and learning the voc? Series won't teach you all the voc, nuances you need to be fluent. Same for grammar, there are so many exceptions and rules that you need to read and learn to understand fully the language.

      And her origins already allow her to speak 4 languages as heritage(English,French,hindi&tamil)
      The rest she learn it in Europe
      Its common that during summer they go do some vacations stages in
      Italy or Spain and to learn there and to allow be on vacation
      And in france you can learn most romance languages in school
      In high school(lycée) you choose if you would study spanish(l'espagnol) or german(l'allemend)
      But yeah i think she like it
