It sounded better when I woke up haha but what do u guys think? 🙌
I dont know have to wait 45 minutes
bruh, please make a normal one, a not only drop one, cause your vids help a lot but now I can only do drops, I can't do a whole song, make video about hexagon, how did you get signed with hexagon and how to get signed with hexagon maybe story time too
I think it will be cool, but have to wait 15 minutes till premier :D
It'll still probably sound good let's be honest
it's badass

JONAS IN ONE HOUR: i made an EDM banger
Me in one HOUR: ah, yes... i made some drums ;-;
@Aahan Pydimukkala legend😂😂
i wanna cry, beacause it's true and i dont't know what to do with that(((
i get lost with all the sample. i can never seem to focus on the actual piece of music. And whenever i am doing something random an awesome drop just pops into my head. or even when i listen to a random piece of music, like classical it gives me inspiration. Classical is surprising because I don't listen to it often unless i listen to the radio

dude same, i just finished not finishing three tracks, and now im probably gonna do another three lol
OK you guys just give me some motivation, i think... xD
I feel so welcome in this conversation:(
@@julsd6009 its really hard man, same here. a few tricks I've used even though I still sometimes have the same issue:
1. Don't always play your song while looking at the arrangement. It kind of takes away from the song and makes it feel more like a science project than a song. Open up a youtrube video of like a dj set somewhere and watch that on mute with your song playing in the background and imagine its being played. Then judge it based off the feeling you get from that instead.
2. Just commit when a sound is 70% what you want and move on. You can always go back and change it later. But at least this way you're more likely to finish the arrangement and you'll find that you might not even have to go back and change it again since it always sounds wayyyy better in the context of a full song!
3. This is maybe the most important, music listeners DO NOT AND NEVER WILL hear your song the same way as a producer will. All they care about is "does it make me feel something or not?" So try not to be so hypocritical on micro-adjustments because honestly, listeners don't hear that crap anyways! Have a non-producer friend take a listen and tell you if it's good! Also, for inspiration, go listen to the Beatport Top 10, some of those songs are so damn basic and have no microadjustments and perfection in them at all, so that's always a nice reality check to know that you don't need to obsess and your song is probably good enough as it is.
Oh hey Bru funny seeing you here

this video is literally priceless. We're really really lucky to have Jonas mentoring us like this. :)
well not anymore
I like how Jonas uses Mr. Bill samples, despite the styles of music being completely different, Mr. Bill's neuro stuff somehow compliments Jonas' style really well :)

Jonas is a Very experienced Music producer and A DJ....he uses lot of techniques while producing music or while Filming a Video...His tutorials are soooooo helpful...I actually learned more from Jonas....
jonas: im tired
computer: you have to wake up in 9 hours
Is it weird that this music makes me fall asleep? The bass is so warm🥰🤣
When Jonas says: "I have no idea how this is gonna turn out" you know it's going to be a banger! 🔥 (yes, I'm talking about the making a track without hearing it)
I know this is a few years later but dude your so talented! Don’t be so hard on yourself while your making the beat. I watched this video to learn from the best. Your music speaks for itself. It’s amazing. Don’t put yourself down when it sounds cool every step of the way!
09:56 "youre waking up in 9 hours" I dont think so 😂😉

Rumman Naser uhm?
@@tobbi1802 Check out Levi Niha. He made a similar vid I loved it.
@カモメcheegulls oh yeah totally forgot about acapella and stuff lol
did that when i was younger lol , you can use differnet objects to alter the sound, for example i used a long big tube to make bass sounds. Ot metallic stiff to boost the high spectrum of your snare (made with the mouth)
Other producers : Use nexus for piano
Jonas : fL kEySssS
Everyone liked that
Nexus sucks for pianos, keyscapes is better
The final drop was awesome!
Love the white noise on the kick idea!
Did you know a DJ at a trampoline park introduced me to Jonas Aden’s music and Jonas Aden’s music introduced me to future house music.
Edit: and I’ve been addicted ever since
Dude the way that you changed the piano sound into that distorted shit was cool af
You gotta love the premieres
Jonas is honestly the best producer and teacher on youtube-he gives tricks for mixing and mastering, kicks, melodies, makes amazing music, and most importantly, he treats his fans like friends and family members. He spends a lot of effort and time into making these videos for us. Along with his talent and friendliness, he deserves everyone's support.
well not in this particular one tho, i mean skipping how to use the automation clips proper is kinda good to explain to newcomers. He glances over it like its basic, no explanation about the plugins (bought and free) he just does his thing and you can watch it but thats it.
I think Jonas should do a series where he showcases the whole process of him making a track over a few months 👀👀 (if it’s possible ☺️)
@Leaya I don't understand what you are trying to say
I'm impressed by your speed on selecting and modifing samples 😱
Sounds siccc man! The synths seem a bit "blurred" or missing some high end power tho but this would be awesome to hear the finished version of.

So curious about this so I searched and came across your video. Thanks!! 👏
I think we should get an other video of Jonas completing this by adding a break and intro and stuff. Could also be a cool arrangement and song structure video thing. Also it would be really cool if this was a series with different styles of songs?
I dont stop learning things from you mr jonas 🔥🔥
The drop is soo sick man! I want the full song! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
this trick with using samples to form your bassline is so good. From the time before and the time after I started doing this, there's a day and night difference in the depth of the otherwise simple bassline.
You don't need beethoven level musical knowledge if you use tricks like these.
Jonas: But I‘ll shut up now. Lets head into the video
Everyone: Adorable 🥰
Awsome video! I would love to see more of these kinds of videos. I can’t find anyone on the internet who goes down to the very detail of a track in the way that you do and with the amount of experience and talent that you have. Keep it up!

Ive watched this a thousand times already lol somehow this never gets boring to watch 😀
You inspire so many people... More details the better!
When I look at producers like Jonas Aden, I sometimes don't even understand how they do it! Just twenty-five minutes turned out such a cool drop, and I can sit for more than an hour, but it is not a fact that something similar will come out! Do you imagine the entire track in your head, or do you sometimes just experiment without much thought in your head? I sometimes mess with one sound and it's already infuriating. Although I don't understand English very well, I really like your videos! Thank you very much for this video, please make more videos of this format!
Thanks for watching man!! I usually just mess around untill something cool comes out and then i get an idea from that, which gives me another idea and so on

Thank you for the Video Jonas! This was suuuuper insightful and inspiring. One skill I am working on with a lot of my music lately is how to be more creative with my bass fills and watching your process of starting with them over the drums and adding main bass elements afterwords is a really good trick for creating room and maintaining a more simple bassline for some tracks.
The chords remind me of Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce 😄. You should finish this for sure!
