Guetta makes it look easy. U know someone has mastered their craft and really understand it when they can make even a passer-by understand. Taught about how to make a great remix, chords, triads, compression, arrangement etc in half an hour! Just enough so u can kinda just get it and be inspired to learn more. Legend
and he can release it and get many $$$$ from it too if he want 😁
Legendary guy
Well if you look in the credits you see he didn’t produced it. Shoutout goes out to Toby green. All big artists are fake
@@timgordon5135 I can't find Toby Green anywhere mentioned regarding this song, are u sure? All big artists are fake is a pretty bold claim 😅
Well he pays people to do it
Is it just me or is Guetta typing and working on the PC like an old man. Love it. Dudes a legend.
I think what you mean he’s behaving like a mature and experienced adult, not a teenager who thinks they are cool.
dude been doing this longer than us but knows what to do. mf was alive when these programs first came out.
The dude is mid-50 and more focused. But he can still jump on stage as if he were in his 20s.
Old man is also a millionaire as well as a legend and doesn’t live with his parents
Love the people here misinterpreting my comment. All I have is respect for Guetta. It was an observation. Chill out.
Wow… This is so generous of him to share his workflow… I must admit I always assumed he has a secret production team behind him doing all the remix work… He’s gone up in my estimation . Respect!
This is honestly the best easily accessible producing lesson that exists
for he's sound yes, he is done it for 25 years maybe, so it makes it look like its easy
Certainly not
Nope, its an interesting video. But there is soo much wayy more in depth and highly entertaining music production tutorials out there.
Just look for it, you are spoiled for choise here :)
dont forget Ruskos Dubstep tut on Acid pro. Stellar
Hot
I love how through the video you can see the change from morning to night by the end. Shows how long it really does take to produce something like this.
Years of information condensed to half an hour. Incredible. This is probably the best tutorial on music production I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe it’s free to watch again and again. Thank you! ❤ Also, your moments of excitement are adorable.
David Guetta...one of the most successful musicians of all time is taking time and patience to drill down music production process and put it available for all of us...for free...explaining every key aspect....humnleness I haven't seen in many years. I'm crying happy tears...love is still strong in some human beings. Thanks David, this is more than a tutorial...this is sharing life with us.
I like you my Friend David Guetta ❤
I am not a teenager, I am 53, but I have to admire and respect what you do, David. I learn many things from your video.
I started music production in my teens. I left it for 20 years. I'm now getting back with Ableton. This tutorial is great as Guetta is showing how little you need to create a dance track. The hard bit is reigning in those instruments and effects to unmuddy the sounds but keeping it sounding full. It's very hard to master belive me. I started on Octamed on Atari ST, then cubase, then Reason, fruity loops and now Ableton.
Remember what Sting once said regarding music.
"It's not the notes you play that make a great song, it's the notes you leave out."
This theory applies to pretty much everything.
Happy producing people.
I had them MED 1.4 on Amiga 500, the little 4 track editor Brother from big Octamed with his 8 Track editor.
💙
Great comment. I was like you. I started doing what David was doing in my 20s and then life came along and I had to work to pay bills as a slave so I lost interest in music production. It's always on my mind. I was mainly using Steinberg Cubase, Fruity Loops, Reason, etc. Shame I stopped. My mojo has gone.
@@tonyantoniou8667 spot on and good luck
"16:42" that "Hmmm😊" is what every producer knows. When you just created something you love and know that it will be amazing. 😂
It's amazing to see how these songs are created. There is alot of work that goes into this stuff, thanks for sharing this David.
I started out in writing & production 25 years ago. There was a site called internet DJ which had people who would provide technical feedback & hints on your tracks. Within two months of joining my production went through the roof & I got a deal with universal.
The people who helped me out didn’t have to, and it was all for the love of music. This is like my example, but turned up to 11.
I just love that people like david do this. Absolute hero of a human being.
Watching this high is insane. He's so chill😆
I love the treated room!
a nice flat wall behind him and lovely glass french doors on the other side!
A producers dream!
I guess it’s true when they say that you lose one sense others are heightened.. this man is BLIND! 😅😂😂 love you man 😌🫶
I know that everyone will appreciate it. Thank you, Maestro David, you are a great person. Big greetings from Russia
Guetta has honestly explained his tricks. This quality is owned by great great teachers
Guetta always on fire ❤🔥💛🔥❤🔥💛🔥❤🔥❤🔥
9:36 that chord progression is the golden ratio. the 1st chord multiplied by 1.618 is the 2nd chord (but an octave higher), multiplied by 1.618 is the 3rd chord (but an octave higher)
Now we're talking
Could you explain it, didnt understand to much!🙏
What you mean with multiplied? It are just notes?
@@dj_allup Start by learning about the circle of 5ths.
Freaking genius, and humble enough to share his cooking secrets on UA-cam. Thank you Maestro.
David Guetta is my favourite music teacher🎉😂❤
😮 the coolest intro I've ever seen 😮
You’ll notice he’s states I wanna see how this “feels” instead of “sounds” this is how you know he’s besotted my music. Making it playing it and sharing it. Big love for him and always have to be honest
french musicians always obsessed with texture and detail - i love it
He shows what the mastering of serum looks like. Hat pulled down for m'y fellow frenchie
Jamás creí que una leyenda de la música electrónica fuera tan humilde para inspirar a nuestras generaciones no cualquiera haría eso, muchas gracias, David Guetta
BEST DAVID GUETTA REMIX EVER 🔥
The man who performed a duet with artists for the first time in the world
I never liked this music but I have to admit how much he extracts from a very simple things
This guy will make a person feel like he choosed the wrong carrier.
GUETTA KING 🔥
We can all agree that David never disappoints us
Did David ever do more of these ? ...I learnt more in 30 minutes then I have in a month of watching others....hahaha
David Guetta is awesome
The Man makes me Smile !!
La meilleur version a mes yeux
nada mejor que ver un tutorial de una leyenda viviente de la música electrónica!!
I mean, I have been producing music for a while, but still, I learned so much from this
I know you will probably never read this, but thank you again so much for these producer videos.
I wish you would create a "Tutorial/Teaching"-Channel.
You are so chill to listen to and you have everything those other "teachers/tutorial-channels" lack: "the ear for amazing, emotional sound combinations" 😄
Девид красавчик 💥 ДиДжей, который творит музыку будущего 🤜🤛
What a absolute master, never disappointed with his tracks I hope one day I can go and see this man at work
you are a legend. thanks for the tutorial.
Ready 🔥🔥🔥
thank you david you are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It never gets old for David Guetta Another day in the office for him
My Favorite Song ❤
55 and just bought my first "keyboard" in 30 years. Age is not being kind to me so it's time to get back into the music. I studied back in the 80s when digital was only just breaking through. We used mostly analogue recording in the studio, with Akai's S612 just making an appearance towards the end of the course.
Now I have teenagers of my own and they crave getting into production, so... here goes nothing!...
Akai MPK49 just bagged for £50, Ableton next in line. PC, screens and mic's ready and waiting. This should be a blast.
Guetta makes me love Ableton more and more each day. "fire"
LOVE THIS!!!! Genius and love the creativity. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I love seeing how you explain, and how you work.
Legend ❤
Thanks you Guetta! 👍🏻🚀🔥
Love you David guetta♥️😍🇦🇷
🔥🔥🔥
David tu as toujours la même passion de la musique électronique !!! RESPECT !!!
Awesome words at the end of the video. Thank you David, it's really interesting to watch and listen to the maestro🙂
Bro remade a track he already made to its perfection how accurate could he be😭

I'm now 35 years old and I want to get start my biggest dream to be a DJ and you're my "mentor" ...
These tricks are so useful yet he explains them simply, thanks David!!
This is a master class
I become crazy whenever your song is being played.
The screen recording quality makes it really difficult to accurately see what he's doing, but thank you so much for the production level of cuts and edits. I do really appreciate it
It's funny to see him home in sweats and glasses. Looks like the world's coolest soccer dad.
I found you by mistake. I have never heard of you but what you do reminds me of what I did back in the early 80s with my Korgs, Yamahas, Rolands and Tascam recorder. Then I'd play my casette tapes with my synths at weddings and other private parties. Too bad I'm so old now! Thanks for sharing what we used to do 35 years ago, but now with computers!
This is a really useful video. I always enjoy listening to your music, and I am so grateful that you even taught me in detail how to make music.
Your words about sharing music are inspiring. you are a true artist
I started making music when i was 18.. but i had to take a longer break later, because i was building my own company... Today im 30 and this time it'll be big(hopefully)... Maybe someday i'll land a hit... But as he said, if u want to make music, u have to understand it... I kinda forgot some things over the years, but its easier to relearn, than to learn it first time...
Really appreciate this moment of intimacy with the way the artist creates emotion through his music.
Kicks, snares, vocals, etc. are not placed somewhere just because they sound cool.
Other artists did the same kind of videos (Stromae or rap bit markers eg) and it's always a pleasure, but this one is a masterpiece.
Merci pour ce partage dans la mentale de construction du titre.
I really appreciate you sharing your thought process and making things work with tools available for anyone. Thank you!
David and music 🎵 breathe together.
You are amazing Bro!!☝🏻
Ça c'est un morceau de musique qui restera longtemps avec tous ces mouvements entre années 90/2000...

❤Amazing @davidguetta 👑❤ You're THE EXCELLENCE.!!❤You're LOVE.!❤❤❤💣🔥🔥🔥
David, I wanted to say hi to you as one of the silent ones on UA-cam (I rarely comment on here). I was a DJ from the early 70's to the late 90's working up from the mobile DJ's to the clubs. I started on Garrard SP25 turntables that couldn't be speed controlled apart from holding the platter down ending up with Technics SL1200 which was a breakthrough. Bought my first Midi keyboard with a basic interface into a very slow PC triggering samples from an old Roland sampler...Far away from these days technology. So feeling really lost out on the new ways of producing the sounds you show using Ableton which I'm so tempted to revive my passion for music and bring memories back tinkering around in my room again as I did back in the 80's Just love the way you build the tracks and wanted to say thanks for the basic training for me to learn from scratch in my later years. I have many thousands of vinyl records I'd love to sample hooks from, just need to learn the basics I guess. I only beat mixed in the clubs but never learnt music keys which I'd love to understand more than just the Camelot wheel (but I was good even if I say so myself) . Anyways...Keep this up, superb to watch your video's, regards from an old DJ... Music never dies!!!
Eres increíble David Guetta ❤️🥺
bonsoir david merci beaucoup la vidéo bonne soirré françois
This video has inspired me so much to create a future rave track. Thank you so much for all the insights and secrets
I love to see your passion for music.
