They do look a lot like the hives, that's true, but they were 100% meant as trees ^^' And truth be told, the Ganondorf bit was more of a joke than anything else!
At last someone thought about these trees! Again, a most enjoyable video! Looking down at them, though... I wonder if what they're rooted in is not ordinary ground, but the tops of even more massive trees of that species... and if so, what *those* would be growing on?!
Yeah, they do, which is why I get the confusion. I'm assuming they did it that way because branch structure of the actual tree would be difficult to recreate in a game without making them phase-through, which would be a tad weird with how large there canopies are.
@@Drakenwild thats genuinely kind of tempting. They're really beautiful in BotW, but before this video I've never seen whay they look like in person. Still really cool lookibg. Plus it's fun to imagine what the people who live near my area might say in a century or two seeing random dragon trees in whats otherwise a sea of evergreens lol.
@@DyxoXinoro as long as the climate allows for them to grow outside! I'm fairly sure they will not survive snowfall. Dracaenas can be delicate. There's lots of different species of them btw, not just dragon trees, and they tend to make for great pot plants and eventually grow pretty big. Not terribly difficult to keep in my experience, either.
@@Drakenwild sorry, I should have been more clear. I believe the name "Dragmire" is related to the word "dragon", and you suggested there is a connection between Ganondorf and the Dragon Blood trees. Just one more minor (potential) correlation.
Also, they are remarkably near to the Breach of Demise, where Ganon's forebearer, Demise, is said to have emerged from
You're right, I didn't even notice that! Great observation ^^
After playing TOTK, these kinda remind me of the Gibdo hives. I’d love to see you address your theories about this again now that the sequel is out!

Great video, as always.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you! :D
Tbf their solid treetops make it feel more like a mushroom than a tree

Note to self: Ganondorf probably has the bonzai equivalent of these trees in Wind Waker
I'm pretty sure you can buy seeds of these and grow them yourself if you wanted.

Beaver!Link confirmed.

Of all things.
Isn't Ganondorf's last name Dragmire?
I don't see what that has to do with the topic ^^'
