Those sets are the obvious choices for parents who walk into a store. The G923 feels a lot nicer with the rim, the True Force is cool (for the few games that support it). The T3PM are the better pedals out of the box. In comparison to entry level DD wheelbases both products are not compelling at the MSRP. But those entry level DD wheelbases are mostly PC only and also not in common stores. So they are out of sight and question.
@@toomanyenemies6452 Many reports of the Logitech pedals failing after some time. Issue of potentiometers. Similar to stick drift on console controllers (e.g. dual shock). Issue is, that the potentiometers for the Logitech pedals are not as widely available as the ones for game controllers.
As someone who just purchased the T3PM pedals to replace my Logitch ones, I was frustrated at just how much of a downgrade it felt like. My Logitch potentiometers had started giving me a bit of flicker at full throttle, so I started using 10% top end deadzone to counteract this, but when my T3PM pedals arrived it felt like they had a lot less travel than the Logitch ones, and more than the 10% I was losing from the deadzone settings. If U had any recomendations for a set of pedals that had a lot of travel that didnt use potentiometers, that would be very helpful. Other than that, great video
Normally, less travel is better as it is like that in real cars. I would opt for pedals with a load-cell to be honest. I am a fan of the Fanatec CS V3 pedals (use them myself and prefer them over the T-LCM pedals) but also the CSL Elite V2 get good reviews. Both are available for a very Sharp price at Fanatec atm.
@@VJGamz that depends. On console, it will be a no because there is no mix and match for hardware on that platform. On PC, it is possible, however, T3PM come standard with an RJ12 connector and not USB so you will need a connector to convert it to USB.
Neither save your money buy a T300, i bet the T248 would be better then the 923, if Thrustmaster simply used a stronger motor or better mosfets to power the motor, maybe it needs both idk.
These are the two best looking wheels, you have to own both and enjoy the cool details they offer !!!
Good review thanks!

Can U explain why U feel like the T3PM pedals are better?
I love it how you are able to summarize what I say in 8.5 minutes in just a few sentences. 😇
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Sorry for just stating the obvious. I am that kind of guy at times. (Always).

@@SimulatedDrivingResource thanks for the tip, I’ll have a look
No problem. A bit of a shame to have to invest again after buying the T3PM pedals though
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Thankfully we live in an age of Facebook marketplace
True force is why when I upgrade I'm leaning towards the G pro. I just got my 923 a few months ago as my first wheel and have no complaints
Well, stay tuned. I managed to buy a G Pro and will put up a review and some versus soon.
finally someone who also tests on beamng!
My fav game for just a chill-drive. And now with the carreer-mode that got some love... magnificent piece of software 💙
@@SimulatedDrivingResource my favorite as well
hello, will it be possible to use T3PM pedals with the logitech g923 steering wheel? thanks in advance and awesome video.

If I had to go back to either of those I would quit forever 😅😅 lol But , Great review and for taking the time to do it for all ! Happy Holidays!
Thank you for the kind words and happy holidays to you and yours too friend 💙
What do you use now?

Love the T300 base and superior for drive to both T248 and G923 but it has its issues and lesser points too.
like the included power supply. Also I've read some people have had one of the boards fry or something @@SimulatedDrivingResource
@@penguinsushi8442 with the heat it can generate, yes, that is a possibility.
Had the T300rs gt and 2 weeks in it died. Went and got the g923. The reliability is much better on logitech than thrustmaster.
Also it don’t work on xbox
Taking in consideration the T-150, predecessor of the T-248, I would go with the G923 any day of the week.
The T-150 gives almost zero detail.
The T150 is not great... it feels like Vileda gloves to the touch and the power is.... Well... not great either. Indeed here, the choice is easy.
