Have seen 10-12y old kids doing that for fun, before tournament starts and everyone chats around. None of them reached master level to my knowledge. That time they were my level, cat at players best.

That's the thing, playing blindfolded would be impressive enough, but he played blindfolded whilst playing as if he wasn't
Andrea lowkey gave me a headache and im not even trying to play chess with a blindfold on. That being said she is very entertaining so if you read this Andrea dont take it as an insult.

London is amazing when you are a beginner, a bit sad when you are an intermediate player, and incredibly miserable when you are an advanced player. But then it's amazing again when you are Ding Liren.

I think his stance is, it's good for lower ELO, like Ludwig, but doesn't like it at higher levels. Mostly subjective tho.

I love this dynamic between Botez sisters and levy. They are just bringing their energy full force-- meanwhile levy is trying to Map a chess board in his brain. The result is levy being impatient and slightly irritated. Such a funny dynamic. Great tactic sisters.

I think it adds to the point. Levy said that because he didn't take what the sisters said seriously, so the blindfold just adds to the absurdism Levy was going for.

It's taught because its very straight forward. There are not a ton of crazy lines to memorize. Just essentially the same 8 opening moves.

I thought that he would play a separate game with each sister blindfolded simultaneously.
