You’ve got the best guided stretch routines, I’ve done yoga for a couple months now and ever since you’ve explained to move the pose so it feels good for you my yoga has changed completely and my legs are no longer strained before running, bless your soul

Thanks for your videos, I’ve just started to put more stretches before and after my runs.. I’ve did notice that I do get cramps in the muscle I didn’t even know it’s exist 😂 I hope it will get better by the time..

Enjoyed doing this longer warm up stretch Ash as feeling quite achy this week, back horse riding too! It's helping those sore calf muscles ahead of my run today thank you very much :)
Your body will obviously adapting to getting back into the routine of everything Tracy. Should hopefully ease after a few times. If the calves keep sore that’s maybe an insight into upping mileage or intensity too much before they’re ready. If it eases though then you are obviously fine 😊👍🏻

@@RunBetterwithAsh i did great, 1 hour 55 minutes is way faster than i expected. Now after stretching after run im just lying in my bed (of course for recovery 😅)

This was my favourite warmup yet. The twists in the second half were so good to get into the hamstrings, hip and lower back I went back and did them twice. Its quite satisfying to find a new stretch that feels like it's just what your body needs. I appreciate that you don't move too fast and explain the nuances of the stretches thoroughly. Thanks for the great video Ash!

Ash, yesterday I ran a fast 5km, and experienced my first back stiffener (mild spasm), since I broke my back in late 2022. Naturally, I was pretty nervous to run today. This session enabled me to, and, fairly comfortably.

You are now my go to pre run stretch guy. I love how you explain how to do things properly so I don't hurt myself. One question though, is it better to stretch more than 10 mins before your run or good to keep it short and then do a post run stretch?
Thank you so much Leon. I would always prioritise warmup and then get a cooldown stretch in whenever you can throughout the day. Warmup will prep your muscles and heart ready for running 👍🏻
