Hi Ash, I love this warm up. I did it this morning before my run (first one since December) and was a bit worried about how my leg would feel (stubborn IBS that I’ve had for months) but it felt great!! I can’t tell you how fantastic it felt to go out and run/ walk and feel strong and pain free. Your videos have been helping me so much, I am so grateful for all that you do for us. Thank you 🌻🌻

Fantastic warm up, thanks Ash. Anything with rotations is so beneficial for me right now. What with trying to improve my swimming and kayaking I need to rotate my upper body. So good when one can use one exercise for a multitude of purposes. You always give clear instructions - so much appreciated.
Absolutely Be. Movement is essential to keep our body adaptable isn’t it. I always think of movement in terms of a vocabulary. The better the movement vocabulary the wider range of movements your body can perform. So glad this helped you practice your twists for swimming and kayaking too. 😊
Great warm-up Ash, I did a five minute brisk walk right before, and then did your warm up, went for a short mile run since I’m recovering from an injury and I was able to complete the run!

After 1 week not running due to feeling so tired bc of my period, I now have energy again to do a run! Really looking forward to it🌞
Hope you had a great run Jildou. If it felt tough that’s normal, sometimes feels harder after a few days off especially because of your period. The changes definitely affect energy levels.

Hi Ash! I'm a new runner (complete beginner), I've been running for a couple of months now. I really enjoy your standing stretches as I live in a houseshare and my room is tiny, so I don't really have the space to do the mat stretches, though I would love to. Keep up the good work with the videos! 👍🏾

Thank you, Ash. That's one I want to do again. (Once I've worked my way through all your warm up videos.) The bouncing in the wide-legged forward fold definitely loosened me up. Warmed me up fine for a tempo intervals workout (single, not double).

Love your videos! Trying to view more of them and not only the same every time, but realised I have missed a lot for them bec of the newer thumbnails! Do people like them? I think they are intimidating since they look like everything else in youtube now a days haha.. However! Do you recommend different warm ups for different types of runs? Same with the stretching after wards. Thank you for all your awesome videos!

I do my outdoor warmup videos in black thumbnail because of the black studio background but that’s great to know that they look like others and a bit intimidating. I will correct that for next ones and see if there is a difference. Regarding your question, I see my library of stretches like a menu. Some days you fancy one dish the other days you fancy something else. So it’s a case of trying and seeing what you feel like based on what you’ve done before 😊

I’m running a 5 K today, with a goal of 21 minutes, pace of 6:45 minutes per mile. 4:12 minutes per kilometer.

My calfs usually tense up after a run, I try to stretch and massage and warm up to avoid it but I haven't been able to find a good way to do it. Do you have a video pre and post run you'd recommend?
