Sadly I still haven't been able to find out how to copy a 'score' to USB stick. Is there any chance you can do a tutorial on this Please? I want to send some compositions off to a music contest, and they insist upon a score with the track.
Hey Kerry, the score is just the Midi file that you can copy. But you would need to get a program for your computer to display it. Maybe check a free tool like Musescore? Alternatively I would take pictures of the Genos screen and add them to a PDF 😜
I have not long had my Genos to Compose my music on, however, I don't know how to save the score onto a usb stick to transfer to my computer which is in a different room. I do have an IPad although not used this yet. Is there a way to transfer the score to a USB or IPad
@@OllyWoo Many thanks. I did look in the manual that came with the keyboard, but this subject isn;t covered. Do you have a different manual to me I wonder?
Gotcha, the main manual explains file management but not how to create and save songs. Google for the "genos reference manual" to find that latter information.
At 5:48 in the video you explain that it's not possible to change the score display because the melody is played in eg track3 and later in track4......So what's your recommendation however to solve?
I have just completed a compostion of an original work. Now I realised I used the full keyboard instead of Left and Right independantly. When looking at it on Music Score, the score understandably looks a complete mess. My question to you is, is there any way I can perform the split after the piece has already been recorded. I suspect I will need to do this again, but it would be dead handy if I could do this without having to do it again. This is the composition in question: ua-cam.com/video/0nNXXZCeZmA/v-deo.html Thanking you in anticipation
Super useful!

@@OllyWoo Thank you very much. That is such an obvious explanation, I wonder why I never saw it till you pointed it out.

USB stick works great, check the manual, it is very easy to store directly or copy from the songs you stored internally. iPad will not work.

Hey Wiljan, what I do now is put the second melody in the left cleft, and just use the harmony symbols for the left hand.

Hey Kerry, it works okay but not perfect if you select the same channel in Details Setting Right Ch and Left Ch in the score view.
After changing these settings, remember to press Setup in your song and select Score Settings and Execute and Save your song again.
@@OllyWoo Thanks so much for this. I never would have figured that out on my own
Wäre ja schön, wenn du das auch mal auf deutsch machen würdest
