I love how the lore reflects what the community generally thinks about ground vehicles. My org always deploys cyclones on the bunker missions to avoid the turrets makes it more fun.
It is the Nova Tonk, not Tank. This is one hill I will die on. EDIT: Since we have a new batch of people since that meme was created, basic run down is one of the designers of the Nova, IRL not lore, was on a video talking about it and has a very thick french accent. Instead of 'Tank' he kept saying 'Tonk" so the community started to refer to the Nova as 'Ze Tonk' or just 'Tonk'. Not in a make fun of the dude way though, it was more something unique that people latched on to. Like Big Benny's before CIG murdered that meme and buried it at the center of the earth by over using it.

Marathon19. Off-topic: OMG SO MANY FRAMES! Alone on a small ship mid QT. Back On-topic: Tumbril seems like an answer to what happens to conventional ground vehicles when most people own single stage spacecrafts. Dropping out of QT, obviously I saw the pale white dot before the ship said anything. Just heard a sound of my thrusters powering down. Control has been warned, but I usually vector extra margins away from installations anyways. Cycling power fixed it, good ol' ON/OFF. Not going to count this one as a loop-of-shame, as I technically didn't "miss" my target destination. Two control operators were there to receive me, I approached at half standard velocity to keep the operator from revoking landing access. The other operator was laughing the entire time. Glad someone was enjoying the ridiculous malfunctions I have been having.
