I've wanted this gem for a long time, been waiting for it lol I play wizard and when the game was public to everyone I was sad that they didn't release the frozen heart lol I'm really wanting this gem. . it's next on my list.. Can't wait for more videos to test this gem out.. I think it might be good in BG.. Thank you ❤️
The gem is good on Wizard Battlemage build or any of the melee classes. Otherwise its pretty useless for the rest of the classes, except maybe in challenge rifts for all classes.
I have a video coming up where I am testing it in battleground as a range wizard. For sure its interesting gem.
I guess this gem is good for melee heroes. I am a DH user should I give a try ?

This gem is going to be really good for melee classes and give some extra defense to range classes.
im also a demon hunter user also . And I must say its a very good gem for range class too
and it freezes your party with friendly buffs, hasn't been hot fixed.

How you can get crit rate chance so high?
I have it on my Legendary gear. I sometime prefer magic attributes like CC and CD over CR.
My wizard has 21% crit chance ^^
It is not better than PA lol.. the thing with phoenix is not the shield but say ur 10% hp somewhere dificult and u get a shot for almost half ur hp phoenix prevent death. If you just compare shields... ofc this is better but who cares meaningless shields on full hp in a game with free poitons and many shield skills and tools to keep up hp.
Phoenix ashes is arguably the top two best gems in the game though.
Your 1 shooting everything why need a shield .
Well that's just farming, you would want this for PVP and challenge rifts or high cr content
Having a little extra defense is nice. Useful in pvp too. Will be posting one video soon testing it in pvp.

It's PA, and he's a glass cannon mage that one shots everything. At least with FH there's a chill effect that goes with shield.
He already upgraded it so it can't be sold

I plan to upgrade it 4/5 again once go for rank 5. So it was worth it for the testing and sharing how it works with everyone.

@@Asswife it’s like wizard ice shield, how often do you see any wizard using it. Chill effect is cool but the fact that any damage can proc this gem is lame. It also only gives roughly 15k hp shield, multiply it by the 60% pvp reduction, it now only grants you maybe a 5k hp-shield.
This is not a set-piece bonus, so it is affected in pvp.
I personally been enjoying it, gives me some extra defense as a wizard.
Why running around with gear in bags that are upgrades?
Any regular player would equip upgrades.
Must be a Content Creator thing.
I believe it's because he has grace set on. He may keep the upgrades on hand instead of in stash. I would just put it in stash.

Nah bro im doing it too. Coz my stash full, im doing dg, map, challenge rift with different set and combat rating upgrade gear.
I switch things on the go sometimes between different set items. Also if I need more CR for raid bosses if someone invite me.

You must not have a life outside of game to be able to farm up multiple gear sets and keep them upgraded.
