to me, the soltech lights look fine -- love the black far more than the white. just cannot fathom how that simplistic of a design for only 1 lamp is $150. are there more affordable options that still accomplish looking sleek, without the 10 fold markup?
If you have a clear shelf you will have even more light streaming down. It looks amazing as is, the light is beautiful and a huge improvement 💚

Beautiful arrangement! Have you ever thought about raising your plank a bit on a box or lg. pot? It would then put your monstera D. at eye level to enjoy, and you would see less plank. Just a thought. But your whole bedroom is just so peaceful and lovely!

What was the three tiered light that you had been using before?
It was just a tree lamp from Amazon! With Sansi grow bulbs in it. It worked well, was just in the way.

For your planks what type of wood do you use and are they coated with anything. Thank you. Love the new light and setup
It's cedar and it's not coated :) I think any type is fine, but cedar is more rot resistant so it's a good option if it's going to be getting wet at all.

I have a thing from ikea which is like cube storage which is 4 wide and 2 high which would fit perfectly on the wall where your two plant storage things are. They’re so versatile & really inexpensive and have soooo much space in them

You can use white silicone, comes in a tube and just squeeze that into the extra ceiling hole. It will hide it well enough 😊🪴

I think you'll be very happy with the soltech bulbs, they are super powerful. I got the vita bulb for a standing lamp and my ZZ plant shot out 7 new stalks within 3 months. It's the only grow light I will even use now.
It makes me happy when I wake up and see you have uploaded overnight (I'm in Australia). Morning coffee and fern video makes for a good morning. 👍

@@wildfern thanks you. It looks so compact and space efficient. The ceiling lamp on its own produces harsh lighting, but the 2 combined soften the hard shadows and make it very nice.
Probably another one of those plant spectrum would make it great.
The ceiling lamp, even if black, may be good if it also came with a while cord, but who cares when beautiful plants and your eyes really steal the show.
Why did you move to a smaller apartment?
