My faith in modern musicians has just come back, this type of music I grew up with; modern musicians are not really my cup of tea until now. Thank you Grace for restoring my faith in what’s to come in the future, stay healthy and safe & keep on rocking.
Check out a band called The Warning, they too will restore your faith in modern musicians.
@@paulwood5803 Thank you Paul, I will give them a lookup 👍
The mucicians are still coming and going at the same rate as before, it's only that the music companies don't see dollar signs one them so you can't rely on mainstream radio and media to make you aware of them. You gotta dig. It looks like Grace Bowers is bringing a lot of attention to other established musicians that have been around, and even some other young ones, that haven't gotten the mainstream money bath. She's not only fun for regular folk to listen to, but she's really a musician's musician to boot.
She's an amazingly talented kid, wow, a pleasure to watch & listen to her mesmerizing style, riffs, combined with an awesome stage presence, just feels hypnotic❤❤❤

Check out the band called
Rumpus
I'm hearing bits of Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Luther Dickinson...not to mention Jimi and SRV...simply remarkable that a 17 year old can assimilate so much diverse music...
And Jeff Beck to my mind
Came here to say all of this. Was not disappointed.
I love how the vocalist is just enjoying this.
She literally LIVES her music somewhere between Joe Walsh and Carlos Santana. Just a pure talent.
There’s a new king in town. Or should I say queen. Very impressive Grace.
MY HEAVENS SAKE! I almost want to cry! GO CHILD! GO! ❤
Fantastic - so good to see a new generation playing this stuff... I'd love to see you share a stage with Kingfish... That would be sonic heaven!
Her talent deserves that tone. My goodness. It doesn’t get better than that.
I’ve been following Grace ever since she came on the scene. Her version of SRV’s “Lenny” is soooo good - she brought tears to my eyes!!!
I hope everyone around her takes good care of her!
The Bass player looks like he's got a black belt in Karate
WOW! Love the rendition of "Lenny" and SRV highlights. Grace and the band show their skills for sure! 👏👏👏
Blues ain’t going away as some say, there will always be someone young to keep it going on GOD BLESS!
I'm enjoying Ester's enjoyment. Grace is amazing. She got herself a fine backing band too.
Esi's joy is infectious!
Wow!!! I'm see exactly what Nancy Wilson was talking about. You have a beautiful style and expression. Just keep moving and don't stop for "too" much play. You don't have to go anywhere you have arrived already! At 17 !!! You are now on my music list and I'm passing that to my sister and our friends. I really enjoyed that so much. Well be listening! Good luck 🍀
I love this girl...she is going to murder it!
Good golly, Miss Molly, that was unreal.
Saw srv in 86,this young lady is bad ass!!! Soooo glad the younger folks still know great music!!!!!
This is a great showcase of so many things you've learned, managed and accomplished in '23 and '24. And let's hear it for THE PODGE!
That Stratocaster is on 🔥
There's some Derek Trucks vibes about some of this...but also wonderfully original
SRV Dipped in Truck's Sauce... Where is she appearing?
Yes! Nights in Harlem... and that´s a proove of great taste and talent. Derek Trucks vibes make any guitarists better👍 She is good!!!
Good Gracious ! Keep going Gracie .. keep REAL MUSIC that you can feel ALIVE.
Taking it somewhere new....and old!
God damn this girl can play.
That was pretty badass!
AWESOME the sky is the limit young lady thank you for sharing 🎶🎵🎸👍
Just incredible, and reassuring there are young musicians like her who get it.
Amazing, Grace, how sweet the sound!
Such beautiful playing! There’s a bit of Chris Buck to her phrasing, which is about the highest compliment I can give! She doesn’t overplay; she gives the music room to breathe. Looking forward to many more years of awesome playing to come.
What chops this young lady has at only 17!! ❤❤
This whole band has so much feel.
Geez! How does someone so young play so well?!
Practice
Being BLESSED with talent and taking it seriously and constant practice !
holy smoke, that was awesome
Anyone else find tears welling up in their eyes?
Yes and it's not so much what she plays as how she plays it.
I really do. How did you KNOW?
Definitely!! I’m an 88 yr old who has loved the blues since I was 12. Grace blew the lid off this one!!
My face is leaking 🥲
Yes it’s the hay fever
Great Grace.
Thank you Grace. You made my day. It has been years since I was moved so much.
Amazing skill set powered by an incredible sense of direction.
I just saw Grace and this band at BottleRock here in Napa, CA, just last night. Almost no one knew her before the show but now they will never forget her. She blew everybody's mind. She is classy, poised, and talented and it will be exciting to see where she takes this.
Amazing talent, putting in all the work gigging! 🙌🏼
the "Old Man in the attic" cries...........thank you!
Well done Grace. I love the variations on the riff in "Scuttlebuttin' ".
The music world loves you Grace ✌️🤟
Fabulous fabulous fabulous. Bliss guitar this Girl. Remarkable.
I never wanted that to end …. 🙌🏽
Kid can play. Sheesh. And I love, in several videos, the folks in the background alternately in ecstasy or awe.
Amazing Grace !
Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace. Lovely! ❤️
As I watched this, I'm thinking, "where is this kid getting all this stuff?" That pretty melodic sequence in the beginning was really heart rending at times, and the speed she has other times is really magnificent... wish you all good , and keep giving it, and you'll get it all back in time...Your fan, AL
Grace Wowzers !
Super fast and talented, the heart and soul will come.Thank you for keeping the Blues Alive Grace. And GO-NOCAL!
Holy Sh*t, this girl got it goin' on!
Passion, Grace and Fire
She made it hers while showing hommage.
Merci.
My eyes got heavy and I think I nodded off for a minute. peaceful like. Then you woke me up and ka bloooie I'm all wrapped around what's going on.
Stevie would’ve been blown away.
Own the air around you sweet child. Own it.
She reminds me of a young Nancy Wilson! Great stuff...
I’d love to see Grace play a gig with Nancy & Ann Wilson
Oh my!!!!! I gotta see her! Great
Bass player is in a trance just on autopilot back there. This entire thing is magic....far out.
Holy smokes, that was so dang enjoyable!
Hendrix and SRV sent us an angel! x
Perfect expression my friend!!!
Her confidence, composure, and command keep improving... I really hope she's taking voice lessons and fronts her own band some day in the tradition of her heroes.
Why? Why ? Why? She is already fronting her own band
@@scottklandl488 Thanks for asking. Hendrix didn’t originally sing either and was content being a guitarist, but then their singer didn’t show up in one of his first solo studio sessions so he had to sing, and the rest is history. Her heroes also literally are guitarist/singers. I just gave you two good reasons. Plus, she has a nice speaking voice and some soul obviously, which usually translates to a good singing voice, and especially in blues. That’s three good reasons now. Thank you again for asking.
Instrumental music is cool, too. There are more than enough words out there. It’s nice to hear stories told with instruments. ☮️☮️
Jimi, Eric, SRV, Bonnamasa, Knopfler, many more worked at it until they were good singers, or really guitarists who sing.
Voice lessons don't make a person into a singer.
Her hair is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
Best rock hair since Peter Framton!
Man in high school I would have been in love with this girl.
I was hot for the Wilson sisters of Heart back then. 😁
@@frankcoffey Ann still gets me. We have been blessed with many talented lady rockers. Lita Ford now is better and hotter than ever, same for Susanna Hoff.
This is AWESOME!!
Love this peaceful vibe. More of this.
Wow!!!!Thank you!!!
WOW!
One of my dreams is to one day be able to play drums for grace whether it’s just for one song or a jam or whatever
Just incredible!! 👏👏👏👏👏
It's some kind of phenomenal
I play this over and over…❤️
Awesome thanks
Yessir! That's awesome!❤
Made my day!!
keeps getting better and better
Oh my gosh she can crank! Awesome!
Excellent! At only 17 I hope the vultures in the industry stay away from her.
I was sitting close to this spot 😊
Blessed
nice intonation and great feel!
God's Grace upon us. There is hope for the future of music.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing Grace! I'll say this Ms Bowers, your passion for life shows everytime you plug that guitar in. You're truly a talented person and what sets you apart is your desire to create and that feel you have. Eric Clapton once described soloing as figuring out his boxes and then use his guitar as his voice..or sings with his guitar. I see you doing the same thing. 🙂 Excellent!!
Rock on Grace!!!
I’d Love to see Grace play a gig with Nancy & Ann Wilson!
Phenomenal, that's almost there! as good as some of the greats, amazing guitar player I hope your style last many years and spreads to many ears ☮️ as I'm typing it's gettin even better, drummer tight on it too, deadly
Nice!
Bass player is as cool as a duck. Lays the perfect foundation for Grace to fly on.
chording too. . .groovy dude
What a feeling! Grace reminds me of Ana Popovic at the beginning of her career. It is difficult to me to say which one of them I admire more.
YAS!
She did to SRV what SRV did to Hendrix, especially that lick at 7:20. She's bringing it to another level.
It's a fairly long video with a slow start, so if you're initially un-wowed with some of the noodling, start at around 3:00 to see a solo guitar improvisation and watch how the initial theme is built up to a great climax. But don't miss 6:15! Amazing talent.
Good stuff Grace. You remind me of Sadie Johnson, ten years ago, when she was 16.
Definitely shades of the late and very great Jeff Beck in the girl’s playing
👏👏👏👏👏🍒
🔥
Just found her a song ago. Noice! More than a passing nod to the great Derek Trucks there. Same way he moves the dynamics through a long solo without losing the direction.
Holy shit!!!!!!!!¡
Her touch kills me.
Nice SRV sound
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
Old Stevie Ray got him a Texas wide 😁 in Heaven right now!❤
am i the only one watching this over and over?
No. I just tried to give her the 10th thumbs up
