Great run dude. I followed Dread 100% for a bit shortly after the game came out. It's crazy to see how far the run has come in the time since then, really makes me want to get into it myself.
No no no, please come back! xD This run is definitely not the standard. Even other top runners don't want to contend with this category due to RNG. Both 100% NMG or Glitchless are a lot more sane to run than this lol.
@@Arkandy Yeah, if I ever stream Dread, it's definitely going to be a glitchless run. I couldn't even figure out what the hell was happening most of the time! 🤣
If you're not familiar with dread glitches they're definitely kind of alienating. I do have tutorials on most of the tech, even if it takes a while to learn because it's complicated, so if you ever decide to give it a try check out the one on bomuhey skew.
I watched your tutorials but I still can’t bomuhuey or adc, all I can do is water bomb jump and pseudo wave certain areas, if any one can could y’all please give tips? Thanks!
I take it you've just started learning tricks and glitches. Adc and bomuhey are very difficult to execute so its fine to take your time learning those while prioritizing easier tricks. Easier glitches you could learn are: Tutorial Skip, Early Cloak, Water Slope Skip, Water Platform Skip, Magus Skip, Adam Skip, Backdoor Flash Shift, DT Slide Pseudo. Out of those tricks I only have videos on the water skips. Although I do all of them in run videos. I recommend learning at least Tutorial Skip and Adam Skip before anything else. You could check the speedrun discord for metroid dread and ask for help, whether you're looking to do full runs or just casually learn tricks I'm sure someone will point out more resources.
100% is only 40 minutes longer than Any%? Damn, y’all are cookin and I’m enjoying every bite. Any% is certainly novel, but there’s something more fulfilling to me about 100% runs in most games.
I think probably the most interesting thing I’ve seen is the shinespark resets on sloped surfaces. I’ve got a 100% save file, so I knew that was possible since it’s required to do a series of difficult shinesparks to get that one Missile+ tank I always miss, but for whatever reason I never really considered applying that same tech to other locations. I’m half-tempted to play the game again just to see how fancy I can get with the movement.
In casual play you can postpone lots of items until you have all abilities and usually it is possible to skip many parts of the shinespark puzzles and really most expansion puzzles in general. But in runs, due to routing, its usually faster to get many of the items with suboptimal abilities. Some of the expansion packs are a bit more challenging when you have less abilities, so it can certainly make replays more interesting as much as taking new learned tech to other places. Good luck if you do give hundo another try!
Samus: *furious button mashing*
Adam: A-Neh-Se-Skuh-Dah-Gh-Duh *explodes*
Crazy that both this and any% have “bad” Kraid fights
Kraid is just evil
Bro says he has bad krait rng and still get wrs how
Holy hell, I haven't been keeping up the speed running strategies for like a year and this is insane. Excellent job

Amazing!
Big fan of this addictive game and it’s so good to see an amazing connoisseur!
the insane glitches was fun to watch
Thats crazy! Well done my dude!
Everytime those Splatoon noises catches my attention, I look to see if my switch is on while im immersed in this gameplay.
GGs on the run.
Lol, thats some sound effects I have on twitch. Oops :P and also thanks!
You're sick hahaha I would like that ability to play it as well as you, congratulations from me
This run broke the space/time continuum & my brain 🤯🤯🤯. Bruh BEAT THE FINAL BOSS & went back for 100% pickups 🤘🤘🤘
lore accurate samus
Thank you for affirming that I will never, _ever,_ be a Metroid Dread speedrunner. 🤣
No no no, please come back! xD

The first six minutes were so quiet I thought this was without commentary and thought I had an unwanted popup ad spring up when you started talking.
Lol, sometimes it be like that!
I feel like I never seen him get plasma, cross bombs or pulse radar. Maybe I missed something.
I certainly didn't collect those. For 100% only the expansions matter, major upgrades like the ones you mention do not.
WOOOO! FIRST TRY EMMI WARP!
I literally thought I was watching a TAS run for 4 minutes before realizing it was a human lol
Haha guess I was just locked in at the start
It's crazy when the final time is so close to the best possible time lol
I know there are still many optimizations to be made, and a lower sob is definitely possible, but yeah that made me pretty happy with this PB!
web did he get da gravity suit
Hey what's ABUR? Some sort of new tech?
I assume it's the All Bosses UnRestricted category
It is indeed the all bosses unrestricted category. So I mean that I'll be running that category next
Looks easy ... ☺
