@CasinoGuitars you guys have no idea how bad I wish I could make the variety show in a few weeks.... please video it for the rest of us mortals to see via satellite.
That was awesome Baxter! All said and done, Jack White is a blues man at heart. Really cool to see how you bring your own artistry to life through his tools. I had the chance to play his guitar and amp (replicas of course) and was completely overwhelmed and didn't even know where to start - this is an awesome example and very inspiring.
I feel like Les Paul, the man, would approve! Looks like a tuxedo, quirky electronics, and probably versatile I think I’d want to move the wide range to the middle and the p-90 to the neck
It's a little busy looking, but still cool looking. It's very much what I'd expect from Jack. I'm a big fan, I fell for his material the first time I heard "fell in love with a girl." I don't get GAS for many signature models, but this one is so different you couldn't find these features elsewhere. Great job, Jack. Hopefully, they'll release a $1500 Mexican version.
Thank you John! You are, as always...The Man!!!! And yes, watch out for that sneaky direct marketing as well...thos tricky folks at headquarters up there:) All the best John as always!!!
Interesting guitar. Baxter has the best over the knee , cross legged guitar stance. He always looks comfortable playing 😂. I’m not flexible enough but enjoy watching him demo!
Wow! There's no doubt this unit was well thought out - it also tells a story about an excellent guitarist. Obviously, the way it looks will cause a divide - but that's really not what it's all about. Goes without saying (yet I do....) Baxter's demo was cool (I think he likes it!).
I used to have an EVH 5150 that had a "stutter switch" which is just a kill switch and it was ridiculously fun to play around with. I would buy this guitar right this minute if it wasn't $3500. I want to go to a shop and try one out though as soon as they are available. Also, great playing as always Baxter! Thanks guys!!!
I put a hipshot detuner on my strat. Had one on a jazz bass 15 years ago when I was primarily a bass player. Having to go from standard to drop D on a bunch of 90's punk/pumpkins songs was annoying to me. Once you get the hang of that detuner, learn its quirks and such, its rock solid. Love that thing.
Although i dont listen to Jack since the White Stripes...this guitar is fucking dope i almost never expected him to get a signature guitar, especially one that wasnt an old Valco Airline and especially a Fender..but i did figure he would make his own guitar company one day because hes so into mods... I expected a Gretsch signature for JW before anything... But i hope he keeps building awesome guitars and makes his own company eventually. That amp is super dope too GO JACK! Also please write good music again!!
Ok, so the funny thing about the advertising of this guitar is on Fender's website: "White powder coat finish added rugged durability and iconic looks..........." but then in the case it's saying it will chip and it's supposed to? I get that things will age over time but it feels odd that in one hand they are saying it's for durability and on the other saying it's purely aesthetic. It's definitely an interesting paintbrush of a guitar for sure.
Excellent playing as always, but I cannot hear what is different sonically from other Fenders. Sounds very Stratocaster but looks like a Cold War Soviet electric. Interesting but not interested.
I know Fender doesn't want to annoy the boomer crowd, but... I think they could be a little more creative, without doing that. They don't have to come out with crazy, pointy, rainbow colored stuff. But if they just added another one or two strings to a normal Strat, I would absolutely get those. Right now Fender is still the best deal for US made options. I just got a Pro II Precision that far exceeds the one I had from the 80s. That thing was junk.
If they selling well. I would say they are good. I mean Jack isn’t John Mayer, he isn’t seen as a guitar god or anything. I am looking at the pickups and thinking good combo.
I never get tired of listening to Baxter play...
Mayor...thank you very much, beyond kind of you!
@CasinoGuitars you guys have no idea how bad I wish I could make the variety show in a few weeks.... please video it for the rest of us mortals to see via satellite.
An Individual expression of what a guitar can be - a signature instrument - I love it, wish I could afford one
Right on, well said, and thank you for sharing!

Thank you Jesse! Great words and wow, very cool to get to play some of his strange pieces there as well. All the best and thank you for watching!
Sounding great Baxter! Cheers Casino!!
Thank you so much and cheers back at you:)!

Nice idea, a little switcher of the pups..not a bad thought!
Lovely guitar and playing as always 🤘🖤🤍
Thank you Dan! You are the man:)
great tune man!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Justin!
Its gorgeous, Jack made a great job with this.
We agree and thank you for watching as well!
AMAZING guitar and equally great job showcasing it, Baxter!! Your playing so effortless.
Love that guitar and all of jack’s past teles and gretsch’s. So sick looking.
What a fantastic video Baxter and Jonathan have a great weekend ❤😊
Monstrous guitar and Baxter you are great as always! Love Jack White as well 💙
Sounds great! JW’s new album No Name is packed with deluxe songs⚡️
Thank you and we agree!
As always, Nice Work Baxter! WooF!!🐶🐶
Thanks you so much tide pool:)

You nailed it and yes, we should expect this from Jack! Here is to hoping for that affordable one as well:)!
Thanks for telling about these sales you are talking about. By the way, I've been getting emails from Fender in the last week. That's a first.
Thank you John! You are, as always...The Man!!!! And yes, watch out for that sneaky direct marketing as well...thos tricky folks at headquarters up there:) All the best John as always!!!
Front row, behind the center mic, kind of Tele!
As always, Baxter throws out the cool improvisation.
Ohhhh, I like that. and thank you very kindly for those nice words.
Baxter’s crazy good. Love this
I think it is a very cool geetar and great demo Baxter!
Thank you again Todd. Always great to hear from you as well!
Really Nice Playing !
Thank you Thomas!
Interesting guitar. Baxter has the best over the knee , cross legged guitar stance. He always looks comfortable playing 😂. I’m not flexible enough but enjoy watching him demo!
That made me smile...I do like getting comfy with these strange pieces of wood:)
Don’t let John Bohlinger play this guys!!!😂😂😂❤
I worry about that Bigsby after seeing the Rig Rundown guy John Bohlinger go for the slightest flutter and the bar exploded off at the rivet.
Well, jack plays the heck out of his stuff so that doesn't surprise me too much...:) But wow, what a shock that must have been:)!
That was not a production model - it was a prototype Jazzmaster that John broke testing the Knife Drop pedal. The mechanism is different.
Wow! There's no doubt this unit was well thought out - it also tells a story about an excellent guitarist. Obviously, the way it looks will cause a divide - but that's really not what it's all about. Goes without saying (yet I do....) Baxter's demo was cool (I think he likes it!).
That's wild. I dig it
Wild indeed and wow, fun to play!!

Oh I am wishing the same thing as far as price...but alas, it isn't the way, darn it! nd thank you for the kind words as well :)
Cool stuff!
Right on and thank you Matt!
Absurd but awesome! 😎
Oh, I like that thought! What a name for a debut record:)
Sweet guitar!

It’s cool Jack White could get Fender to make something innovative.
I want the signature amp. Let’s hope by next years prices will,be tolerable in the used market.
Great idea and keep an eye, I think you may get lucky there on the amps (fingers crossed)
Ok, so the funny thing about the advertising of this guitar is on Fender's website: "White powder coat finish added rugged durability and iconic looks..........." but then in the case it's saying it will chip and it's supposed to?

FUnny indeed....SHe will for sure age with time. I like it but yes, the messaging is a bit...confused:)
Not the biggest fan of the look, but sounds damn good. A departure from the norm. The amp also seems awesome. I want to try both!
Only change I’d make is a regular tele pick up in the bridge, maybe a roasted maple neck. In general really like the guitar, but super love that amp
Yessir 🔥🔥
Right on!
Clip-on tuners offend the senses. Love the guitar and the playing sounds super good!
What amp was this through? Sounds absolutely fantastic.
yeah, you used the bigsby!
Sort of....:)
I am using the same control plate but instead of adding piezo in 3rd position I added the KingTone Switch we talked about earlier
Oh yes indeed!
Do you know how many they are making since this is a limited run?
I am not quite sure on the final number...we are trying to get that sorted as well!
Does the powder coated bridge come with built in casting defects like Jack's?
I hope so!
is the arm guard metal or plastic?
Almost as cool as the Ed obrien signature strat
Excellent playing as always, but I cannot hear what is different sonically from other Fenders. Sounds very Stratocaster but looks like a Cold War Soviet electric.
Interesting but not interested.
For normally being such a minimalist guy, it's quite odd that Jack White designed this Rube Goldberg machine of a guitar. 😄
Oh I like that comparison!
only feature I don't like is the arm guard
Looks like a telecaster with a tuxedo
Yes and yes
I like it too…but then again…I own a 2 single coil pickup guitar made out of a toilet seat with a Jaguar neck
I know Fender doesn't want to annoy the boomer crowd, but... I think they could be a little more creative, without doing that. They don't have to come out with crazy, pointy, rainbow colored stuff. Why does it have a toilet seat on the top bit ? It's like he said lets make the ugliest looking guitar ever , misson accomplished
That's one ugly instrument. IMHO, of course.
Thanks for showing this off. It’s the most industrial, ugly Fender ever. God Bless Jack White. People will probably buy it.
Certainly a unique one and yes, they are selling like hot cakes!
If they selling well. I would say they are good. I mean Jack isn’t John Mayer, he isn’t seen as a guitar god or anything. I am looking at the pickups and thinking good combo.
Baxter. You play so well. You should consider becoming a guitar player!!!
Cant wait to pick mine
Remember when Jack White was all about simplicity and stripping things down? I guess all the gimmicks got to his head.
Would it kill him to play a power chord? Come on man
Wish it was red not black
I agree and I prefer black guitars.🎸👌
Oh nice idea!
Wtf is that thing
The greatest thing ever...or just something weird and cool at least:)
Sounds great with Baxter driving. It seems pretty ugly though.
3500 is bs
It looks like a guitar that had a neck break and is now in traction. Not for me.
Haha, that was perfect, thank you for sharing there!
What an ugly piece of junk, I saw the tremolo arm break off and fall on the floor during a John Bohlinger rig rundown 😂
Isn't this the sam piece of junk a reviewer broke when he used the whammy bar in another video?
John broke one of Jacks touring guitars when playing her...yes indeed and it was awesome!!!!
Oh, ok….. No thanks. Sorry guys.
Shucks....I think she is fun as heck but I get it:)
That guitar is f'ing ugly garbage, sounds good but just not my thing
Sorry you didn't like her looks but thank you for the kind words on the sound:)
WTF more overpriced gimmick with a artist's name on it.
I like my Telecaster's like my ass. Not a lot of shit on it..
@@blueprint1977 Okay,,,,that was funny!
I can build one a lot cheaper than 3500.
Powder coat bugs by is not very appealing
