2006 FORD EXPLORER XLT GETS AN UPDATE WITH TIRES, WHEELS AND CHROME CENTER CAPS FOR ONLY 35 DOLLARS

- I found a non running 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 that was being donated with almost brand new tires on it. I contacted the owner and asked him if he’d mind if I traded his tires and wheels for mine. My Explorer is a 2006 and has the same size tire and wheel. My tires tread wasn’t too bad but needed replaced. He said he didn’t mind and that I could have them for no cost. He even threw in a pair of chrome center caps he had ordered to replace two missing ones. I do have to order another pair of the chrome caps to make all four match. That’s what actually cost me the 35.00. A lot of people scrap cars and trucks everyday. Don’t be afraid to see if the owner wouldn’t mind if you swap parts. A lot of people like the idea that their car is living on. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe. #ford #explorer #howto #tires
My aunt had an 03 XLS, it ran fine, just no one could figure out the rear end noise.
The 06-10, the one you're swapping tires on, is the last good Explorer, through my eyes.
I don't care for the 2011+, they're too big.
Thanks for the video, Greg, and thanks for subscribing.
I’ve heard great things about the 2006-2010s as well. I think they’re the perfect size. They seem to run forever. You still see a lot of them on the road.
I have the same Explorer. Now I’ll be looking for a 2002 wheel set !
I think they look so much better than the original set!
That worked out great 👍
Every once in awhile things seem to fall into place. I appreciate that you follow my videos.
I actually like the new ones better anyway! And who can beat free! Now… let’s talk about the crusty headlights! 😂
I’ve got a pair of brand new Ford headlights and fog lights just waiting to be put in! I also have a new Eddie Bauer grille!
Tire pressure warning.system?
I have not even driven the Explorer enough since I changed the wheels to even notice if the 2006 Explorer and the 2002 wheels are going to make a connection.
