- Greetings Automotive Enthusiasts!
I find a 1991 Nissan 300ZX at an estate! It’s a super clean one owner with only 77k miles. YES, it’s a manual transmission! All it needs is a little maintenance. I am going to extremely enjoy bringing this car back up to mint condition. Stay tuned for more information and a detailed UA-cam video overview soon!
Have a GREAT day and happy motoring!

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful coupes ever made.
The Wizard is watching this video and jumping up and down on his couch in anticipation of you bringing in the car for work.
Guy I went to college with bought the first 300ZX in middle TN. I thought it was an absolute spaceship! Still love the look of that car today
That's the perfect spec in a manual Z. You could look for years and not find a one-owner low-miles Z like that.
I agree!
I had the exact spec in the two turbo back in ‘91! Was really fun, I added Stillen stuff under the hood, it was a screamer but could be scary in the twisties. Nice buy.
Awesome!
Helpful tip. Some Z32 owners annoyed by the motorized belts performed conversions using door panels and manual belts from Canadian cars to convert US spec cars Perfectly legal conversion once the car is registered to its first or subsequent owners. Great looking car. GLWA or sale.
The Used Cars reference was greatly appreciated. Top five comedy of all time.
I’m glad someone got it! Lol. Great movie!
Always wanted a 2+2
This has always been my favorite body style Z. Beautiful condition. ❤❤️👌😎
I remember seeing one of these for sale back in 1990. It was a 1989 model, twin turbo in baby blue.
Wow this is a rare one because it’s a “SLICKTOP” (no-t top) and the best thing about the 91 is that it was the start of the “mode” button for the automatic climate control. 90 was the only year that didn’t have that option and it was a pain because you’d have to except wherever the auto button/temperature allowed the air to flow and that was just awful. I’ve owned three of these over the years in the past and I’ll probably end up with another one day 🤔. You can tell this one is nice because it still has the factory tailpipe and tailpipe tips 🫠.
I like the Cougar next to it too
Nissan fan here, that is a incredible example of a 300. Someone will be a happy owner of that automobile Bob, great find. And the black ones are the best color, it should buff out fine even though it looks like someone wiped it off with 180 grit.
Lol. The shop wiped the car down with a wet bath towel. Lol. It will look like glass after polishing.
I like the styling since it's the 90s car that is an amazing look for a coupe. I double checked and the president of Nissan called it Fairlady to appeal it to the market.
For myself, to heck with that 300ZX, let's take a look at that 67/68 Cougar XR7!! :)
Great video, Bob!
I sat in a red one at the ny auto show when they first came out. I have photos (thanks Dad) lol. The cloth is so much nicer than old wrinkled leather
Cool!
I agree!
I love my na Z32, but I envy everybody that has a slicktop Z32. My T-Tops fortunately don’t leak, but the peace of mind and head room would be so nice.
Sweet car! One of my supervisors owned one back in the early nineties; however, I drove an '87 Plymouth Caravelle.😢
Those will be some sweaty seats!
What a find Bob! I haven't seen one in such condition.
PS - The driver window is not sealing completely. There glass seems to be shaking with the wind.
Nice to find an unmolested, fast and the furious vannabe Fairlady , aged well.. another win for B&B👍
About 40K early for $1,000 belt service, but will be good to 200K. Only gripe, no tilt wheel, but I'm 80. Mines a '90, no air bags, so I put in a smaller steering wheel.
Tough to find these mint
What a fantastic car they are not easy to come by. Enjoyed the video, take care
Great to see what your day is like. Great list of cars.
Maungaturoto, New Zealand.
Great find!
Thanks!
A day in the life of Bob.
What fun!
Hope you enjoyed it!
What a great UA-cam channel!
Thank you very much! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
that is nice is take me back to the good old 90s days
This is my favorite body style Z. Never cared for the 350/370 that much. Fat bloated etc. That is a gem. ❤❤👌😎
Having been around when the Z was introduced I could never warm up to this particular Gen Z, although as time has passed it looks better than its successors. I remember one of the car magazines referred to it as the car without a soul. I couldn’t take my eyes off that Cougar though, my favorite car from the 60s with those sequential turn signals that were stolen for the Mustang many years later.
This is what the ole saying “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” looks like. Awesome Z Bob!
Amen!
You don't see a slicktop that often!
Totally agree on the spec, 2seet 5sp NA, right on (been a z car guy since I was 15 in 90, and saw the TT spec new in Auburn AL) lmao 🤣
Good video sir, Do u do product review for companies?
i like that generation of nissan zx.
Yes, Really nice car 🎊🎆🌌
Even the Nissan dealer won't work on those now. I had an 85. it's one of the most complicated cars even by today's standards
Good thing we have the Car Wizard!
If I had the money & has been there, I would've bought that 67 Cougar.
Oooh, a VG30 engine. These were awesome. I thought they all came with T-tops.
Base models like this one had the slicktop. The cloth interior could also be ordered on more luxurious models if you don't wanted leather.
Man, I drive by your dealership all the time and have yet to see any of these there. Are you hiding them all at Shift??
I assume that the M5 will be going to the car ninja as soon as it's doneat Vango.
What a great day!
It was!
I’ll take the 67 Cougar.
Go for the Cougar
Did the climate blend door servos get replaced? I've seen them bad on a few of these models.
Climate control works perfectly.
They were called the Japanese Corvette.
Doesn't look like they want to sell the white Mercury Cougar next to it.
How many HP are the NA ones?
222hp
Hey...Nissan stole those headlights from a Lamborghini Diablo!
lol actually vice versa. Super example of a 300!
We'll never see a lineup of cool cars like we did back then. 300Z, 3000GT, Supra, RX-7.....each distinctly unique unlike anything modern.
That looked like a pretty nice white GMT 800 sitting there also.
Yup!
Actually it was the other way around. Lamborghini even went so far as to conceal the Nissan logo with a carbon fiber strip. This happened when the Diablos were facelifted for the 1999 to 2003 cars. This was Nissan's original headlight design and they didn't steal it from anyone. In fact its appearance on the Z32 300ZX preceded the appearance on the Diablo by ten years.
@@houseofno i know. That's why l said vice versa.
