With the Bergara you can get it as a Wilderness Ridge model and with a quality scope and rings and base come in at 8.1 lbs. It is a tack driver just like the Creedmore version. Also the street price is around $800.00 for it when you can find them. Ammo is different..scarse as hen's teeth.
@@HighlandOutdoorGear As with so many cartridges these days, finding it is a issue and when you do, getting quality ammo is expensive. It's definitely a reloader's cartridge. Brass is extremely difficult to aquire but you can get it. I found some of the Hornady match ammo during the pandemic and scooped it up and found some Peterson Brass recently. Bullets are plentiful and powder and primers are getting easier to find. It's a awesome cartridge just like it's little brother the 6.5 Creedmore but it takes it further and faster, even better than the 270 Winchester IMHO.
I have a Savage rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC but it only holds three rounds I noticed in your video you have an extended magazine can you please tell me where I can get the extended magazine for my Savage 6.5 PRC rifle?
The Savage 110 Tactical is the rifle in this vid. www.savagearms.com/content?p=firearms&a=product_summary&s=57006 Your rifle would have to have a bottom metal that can accept detachable box mags. Do you know the exact model you have?
@@HighlandOutdoorGear yes it is a " Savage arms 110 APEX XP" I'm relatively new to rifles in fact this is my first one so I'm not sure if it's able to take another magazine.
@@helamanwayman5802 the 110 Apex has a detachable magazine, so you should be able to order the larger capacity ones from Savage. I would chat with them and let them know exactly what your looking for and they can hook you up.
I have the 6.5 PRC Bergara Premier Pro and it shoots Great.I love it. I would like to see a heavier barrel on it and the 300 PRC.. Ruger had a 28 inch barrel on oits 6.5 Creedmoor. I wonder why it didnt follow suit on the 6.5 PRC.
You forgot two of the best rifles out there period! Fierce rifles are the best rifle for their price range and Sako is right behind them! I have owned most of these guns you show and they are a joke in quality and accuracy compared to these two rifle company’s! You really need to get out more if you think these guns are great!
In terms of excellent performance, good features, and not a lot of money a Franchi Momentum Elite is a good choice.
-Tikka T3X RoughTech Ember
-6.5PRC, SS action & barrel
-VX3HD 3.5-10x40 w/caps
-Nice leather sling 🤠🇺🇸❤️
I have a Seekins Havak Bravo in 6.5 prc. It's a shooter for sure!!
No doubt!
what size groups with what ammo ?
i heard those have feeding issues. Have you experienced that ?
An acquaintance has a Gunwerks Clymr. Very very nice!
I have owned a Browning rifle, one was a go, the other was a no-go; a hit-or-miss production rifle.
what was wrong with the no go..... and how accurate was the go and in what caliber?
Have browning 28 nobler shoots like shit. Have other browning that shoot great.
The tikka upr should have been in this list in my opinion. Otherwise a great selection of rifles!!!!
I know!! I just got my Tikka T3x RoughtTech Ember 6.5prc SS in left hand. And it’s a beauty. Better than nearly all of these rifles and I’ve shot all.
I have the Ruger Hawkeye lrt it's one of my favorite rifles. I don't own a 6.5creed but my 6.5prc is very accurate
how accurate?

Ammo is definitely hard to come by.

I have the Ruger PRECISION in 6.5 prc. Like to try a lighter rifle for hunting
I like the RPC, but it is a little much to lug around on a hunt. Great for bench rest or long range precision shooting!
Man I can't find an RPR in 6.5 prc anywhere 😢
The Bergara Premier Ridgeback or the Premier LRP would be my choice for 6.5 PRC, hands down!
Really nice rifles. Love Bergara.
Yeah, you will definitely come in well under the 10 lbs completely scoped and ready to go.
My Springfield 2020 Waypoint in 6.5 PRC
I am with you Charles-I love mine

It adds significant weight, but I prefer a heavy barrel on all my bolt guns.
The Bergara HMR PRO has a $1,150 (3:05) MSRP? I will buy a HMR PRO in 6.5 PRC right now, from Highland Outdoor Gear, for $1,150 so just let me know.
Bergara premier approach

Thanks! We appreciate expert advice whenever we can get it.
Fierce ct rival 6.5 prc can't beat it
Christianson arms Ridgeline
Had a chance to get a Christensen MPR in 6.5 Creedmoor but didn't. Regretting it daily.
Dump the savage and replace with tikka Roughtech 6.5 prc
What pisses me off is when you put out a video and it has a MTD APC chassis and you're talking about a totally different chassis.
There is a very good reason y the savage is the cheapest and most cost effective, they are cheap and nasty!!!
Lol to anyone who thinks the 6.5 anything is “awesome “
