Ya he’s been overscored, but so has Filipe, Ethan, Connor and plenty others. He’s been doing excellent surfing and that’s all that should matter

@@alexsundell8993 Filipe is the best out there by far.....Ethan is one of the best....Conor did great at Jbay ...this guy Colapinto doesn't deserve that spot after what happened at surf ranch and in almost every comp out there....and it's recorded so anyone can see that....

@@RamonHVIt was one comp that he was overscored badly. He does surfing on the same level as filipe with more style. I mean if u want to argue being overscored u could take the last comp J-Bay and look at 3 or 4 waves from filipe that were sooo overscored and Jack Robinson lost because they gave Filipe a 9.6 for a wave that should’ve been a mid 8. And connor surfed good but he definitely lost that heat against John John. The judges pick toledo to win just like they do their other favorites

@@calebm2805 Sure he has game but not near Filipe and even more his style. Looks like a goose with his stiff neck, WSL is giving him a clear path to win. If he does by surfing better on the finals is all good, just hope the judges are fair with all 5
