@@scottbennett847 it’sa pain in the rear for sure but You will get it! I tried all kinds of things and this is the only method I’ve found that works every time.
Ya, thats a SOB man. Not looking forward to the day I need to do mine, but when I do, ya, this is the method I was gonna use. That case will not take a lot of impact before it just shatters for sure. Good vid man, good job! :)
I had a stubborn cv on a dodge once. Yanked the axle apart leaving just the cup and inner cv. Used a big brass punch on the side of the cup while prying with a flat bar. Probably wouldnt have worked in your situation though.
Yup! I’ve had a few stuck axles on various vehicles. I haven’t done a Dodge yet but The krx for sure has been the worst I’ve encountered so far. There’s hardly any room to get anything behind the cup even. 😑
