On emploie le prétérit (sang) pour parler du passé (last night, hier soir). Sung c'est le participe passé du verbe to sing.

Leçon utile! Comme d'habitude en anglais, la prononciation s'avère parfois traître! La forme du verbe BUY au passé se prononce (bo:t) et non pas (ba:t) - mot qui n'existe pas en anglais.

Dans la phrase : They had wonderful moment together for 2 years, il n'y a pas un oubli? Je dirais : They have spent ........
On parle d'une période de deux ans dans le passé (par exemple de 2010 à 2012), il faut employer le prétérit, pas le temps composé.
D'ailleurs, on ne parle pas d'une durée (chaque moment ne durait pas deux ans), on ne peut pas dire "for two years". il faut dire :
We had some wonderful moments together during a two-year period.

Coucou. 4:42 On prononce le -am de swam (le prétérit du verbe to swim) exactement comme am (le verbe to be conjugué à la 1e personne du singulier) aux US et au UK 🙂

I beg to differ.
If the truth is that you didn't have two wonderful years together, just some occasional moments that were wonderful moments, scattered throughout those two awful years, then it would be accurate to say "we had wonderful moments together for two years". I think what you're pointing out is that "for two years" implies duration, so the sentence sounds contradictory.
@@duncansmith7562 The sentence "We had wonderful moments together for two years" sounds awkward. If I were to emphasize some moments throughout a period of two years, I would say: We had some nice moments together during the two years 🙂
@@cyruschang1904 ok, now we agree. "we had some nice moments together during the two years", or even "we had some wonderful moments together during the two years" sounds fine, and makes sense. In fact, both those versions sound like a polite way to say that the two years were, on the whole, not great!
@@duncansmith7562 I would not go so far as "these two years were, on the whole, not great". It all depends on the context. For example:
We did not see each other very often, but we did have some wonderful moments together during the two years I lived in London 🙂
