the last question but not least. The sentence "we might get there yet", is it literal or figurative sense? Cheers
get there (y arriver) veut dire, selon le contexte, soit " arriver à un endroit (au sens propre) " soit " atteindre un but/objectif (au sens figuré) "

Je crois que parfois still prend le Sens de Toujours c'est plus compréhensible 👍
Toujours a deux sens principals.
Sens 1 (always, pas still) I always get up at 7 = je me lève toujours à 7h
Sens 2 (still, pas always) I still don't understand = Je ne comprends toujours pas. Je n'ai pas encore compris.

Bonjour, l’explication de la différence entre ”me” et ”I”, n'est pas très évidente pour moi, y’a t’il eu une vidéo sur le sujet, car j'ai déjà lu "you and I” et "you and me”
S'il s'agit du COD ou du COI, c'est " you and me ". S'il s'agit du sujet, c'est " you and I "
You and I (sujet) are good friends = we are good friends.
It is you and me (COI) they want to talk to = It is us (COI) they want to talk to = They want to talk to us (parler à nous)
10'10: Shouldn't "yet" be placed at the end of the sentence? "There is hope yet". Or is it indifferent?
Le mot " indifferent " en anglais ne veut pas dire " égal ".
Indifferent : qui n'éprouve aucun sentiment, aucun intérêt particulier pour qqn/qqch.
Les gens sont indifférents (these people are indifferent), rien ne les touche.
Et on ne dit qu'une personne " is indifferent ". On ne dit jamais une chose " is indifferent "

But you can only say "c'est indifférent (= égal)", you cannot say " it is indifferent " 🙂
In English, there is a lot of flexibility regarding where "yet" goes in a sentence.
"Yet, there is hope"
"There is yet hope"
There is hope, yet" are all fine to say.

what about the word over? in the sense of again.
to do (something) over = refaire qqch (une action, une tâche, un travail, etc.) d'échoué, de bâclé, de non satisfaisant.
Quand on emploie " over " dans ce sens, le verbe est toujours " to do ". On ne dit pas, par exemple, " to write (qqch) over ". il faut dire " to rewrite (qqch)".
