Please please please react to the album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out by Panic! At a the Disco!! Even sixteen years later, I still listen through the whole album often. It’s a banger and I would love to see how you vibe with it! I think you would really dig the infusion of different music styles and the lyrical content. I’m all here for your emo phase and everything that comes after. Thanks for being you and creating what you do!
I brought you my bullets is a must in my opinion - you really get to experience the rawness of their sound and how haunting Gerard's voice can be. Early Sunsets over Monroeville is an experience.
fun fact: it wasn't actually supposed to be raining when they filmed this video but the director loved it and felt that it fit the vibe and in the making of video he was like "don't tell anyone i said this" because everyone else was complaining about being cold and wet
@@starises4596 The songs are good. The music videos for Sing and Na Na Na are great to. I'm talking about the lame tour videos for Planetary (Go!) and The Kids From Yesterday.
@@megaascension2748I was about to throw hands until I saw your comment and honestly, same. The Kids From Yesterday deserves a MV that’s on level with the lyrics
This song, written by Gerard, was created in the wake of his grief at the passing of his and Mikey's (very close) grandmother and that he was unable to be there for her in the last year of her life. With that in mind this song hits me real hard having had a similar situation in my life. Throwing the backstory out because I think it's important, puts it all in perspective.
"as if Gerard Way is a Priest" oh boi, you have no idea of how much chokehold Priest Gerard has to the fandom he would wear a priest outfit during the revnge tour
I honestly haven’t seen some of these music videos in a bit so I loved being able to experience them again with someone else! I would recommend watching the ghost of you music video next, it’s really quite something. If you’re looking for live performances, the black parade is dead! video is a great place to start, it’s a full performance of the black parade album from front to back. If you decide you want to check out another mcr album, I’d suggest doing danger days next. It’s a complete 180 from the dark and somber vibes of three cheers and bp but it’s super fun! As far as other related bands go, panic at the disco, fall out boy and the used all fall into the same vein as mcr in terms of style and fan base. I would say that patd is more on the pop side if the spectrum, especially the more recent albums, while fob and the used lean more towards punk/rock. Also there’s a newer band called set it off that kind of draws inspiration from all of these bands, their style varies a lot from album to album but I think they’re super underrated and I’d appreciate it if you checked them out! Sorry, I know that was a while lot of information to go through, I hope it’s helpful though! Have a great day!
If you're interested in any other MCR vids, The Ghost of You is definitely essential!! Na Na Na/SING are SUCH fun watches though, THOUGH, you haven't gotten to those yet since they're on the Danger Days album so they'd be first listens too :) Danger Days is a fantastic and accessible album and I think you may be one of us who really love the different sides of MCR on that album, since you're more on the Black Parade side of the spectrum, and yeah it'd be your last project to listen to because I can confidently say their debut would not be to your taste (for perspective, it's like Revenge, but less polished and more grungey). For another artist though, I'd say 100%, stay away from Blink lol. They're a fun band, but they don't provide the same sort of experience MCR do, their songwriting is way more immature and you may enjoy some music videos but full albums would be boring. A band that you'd really love, I think, who have iconic albums AND great lyricism AND vocals, would be Paramore :)
The Director of the music video didn't plan for the rain on the shooting of the video, but knew a opportunity when he saw one and used it to masterful effect.
The live performance videos that are essential viewing are the ones that can be found by searching "My Chemical Romance live from Hoboken". The intro to You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison from that series of videos is a literal masterpiece. It perfectly encapsulates My Chems live performance style.
I love your reaction videos! especially your MCR ones, and I really want to see you react to the music video for Ghost of You! you need to be ready for it, I was not the first time
You gotta check out the video for im not okay. I’m a high school graduate of 2010 so this song was peak high school for me! It gives a love letter to high school movies.
Gerard's performance during Helena is so incredible I cannot keep my eyes off of it. I don't know how he has such great facial expressions but it feel so powerful and I cannot help but feel enslaved by it.
My man you should do another 5sos reaction to their 10 year special even its over an hour so you could even do like 2 parts and it really will show who they are and live performances of old and new songs to give you a good range of their music and overall I think its funny to get a reaction of that as basically a first impression, they even play 2011 live!!
Pls check our the youngblood album by 5 seconds of summer. I believe it's their best work yet. It's a mix of rock and pop. And amazing MCR music videos are na na na, The Ghost of You and famous last words
I'm very excited to see you react to the music video for The Ghost of You so much! There was a scene in it that I believe was only filmed once because it made Gerard Way the lead singer break down
Love reaction so thank you.( Gerard Way , just please. Geraaard. My inner self was cringing so bad to have u calling him a completely different person ,lmao)
Hey. Great reaction. Please take a look at the band Maneskin. They are an Italian rock band that just won Eurovision and are just gaining fans. They are great. Try Beggin, Mammamia, I want to be your slave and For your love. You won't be sorry!!
Fun fact, the rain wasn't planned for. It happened to rain on the day and they just incorporated it. Also your Three Cheers reaction is down with copyright strike, is there any way to get it back up?
I think you should def check out as many mcr music videos as you can! Esp The Ghost of You, Na na na/Sing, and I’m not okay! Conventional weapons is also a fantastic album, its prob my fav of all time tbh, but like everyone says, please do also check out danger days if you’re looking for a completely different but fun vibe!!
Check out MCR's Danger Days album, it has a different feel but I personally think it's very good and I highly recommend it. Also check out the music videos for I'm Not Ok and The Ghost Of You, they're both incredibly cinematic and well put together
You should check out their album, danger days!!! I would compare it to how scaled and icy is to twenty one pilots, both records are very different from all of their prior albums
you should go back and listen to some of Tyler Joseph's work before the TOP Days he has an album that can only be found on youtube called No Phun Intended
I'm seconding this, both of these. The Ghost of You music video is a devastating piece of pure art that I absolutely need him to react to. and yes yes yes to Danger Days
To this day, i always say that if my funeral doesn't look like this, I'm gonna haunt EVERYONE 🤣 but these boys don't have a bad video. Their dark, low budget videos from their first album (and the first version of I'm Not Okay) to their massive budget sagas... They got creative and they had fun. You cannot ask for more.
every time i watch this video i think about two things. one: that frank and gerard's makeup looks here are especially iconic and i need red eyeshadow to come back immediately, and two: the behind the scenes video where they all made fun of frank (one of the guitarists, the one in the hat) for being too short to pull his weight when they were carrying the coffin to the hearse (not quite a limo, though I see where you were coming from there, lol). that bit of choreography with the dancer in the middle where they all have their eyes closed, and she almost touches one of them... so cool, too
Ripping on Frank for being too small was majestic!! But...they were able to fit him in the locker for I'm Not Okay lol and the luckiest guy in the world, the 6th pallbearer!
@@wolfruleTMepic aw thanks!! i don’t think i’m ever gonna change my user or pfp bc i really do love when ppl recognize me in comments, even if i don’t post mcr videos anymore (*´꒳`*)

If theres one band i recommend, its 100% Radiohead. MCR never made an “average” music video (except the Danger Days tour videos). You need to check out The Ghost of You. It’s powerful.
I second this heavy. It’s powerful and emotional.
Wdym na na na slaps
