It is that song with the trunk open. The squeaking sound is the box and how I braced it from moving around. Everything is set with a meter. The amp is getting 14 volts at the terminals. When at rated power. 44 volts at the speaker terminal playing 40hz at 75% volume. They seem to handle great. The box is air tight and the Amp is 46cxa1800.1t and 2000 watts square root is 44.72. I run them at 1 ohm.
Too much. $400 for the subs in a box I threw away. $150 on the box I made. $300 for the amp “refurbished”. After a little more than a year later It did break again because of solder joints inside and they repaired it for free. Battery was new but from a closing business that I got for $125. Other batteries ended up being free from old UPS backups. Stereo was used for $250. All the component speakers new 2.75” 6.5” 6x9” all around $250 total. Alternator was insane since I got a 320amp $700 plus. I also paid another $100 when the outside housing cracked and needed to be repaired. Wires and other odds and ends $300-500. Hard to keep track tbh.
@@XxTrustNoOnexX it pairs well with what I’m using and it is tiny compared to others that do 4K max. Please don’t tell me it doesn’t do rated power because pretty much everyone would disagree. Big D at Wilson Audio Labs would for sure.
@@leejarman872009 how many cubic feet is this sealed box? and it definitely had to be tuned to 36 because they hit super hard at that frequency unless you have an epicenter set to boost that frequency or you used a graphic eq and did it
You can?! Let’s here your pick since I made a huge mistake. Man, Thanks for telling me. I would of kept driving around and embarrassing myself. I want to be smart. Like you. You! Man. You know what’s up. I want to be just like you. You’re just so cool.

Is the sealed better than ported for a crown Vic?
Ported is always better if you have the space for it. I had to have a removable box. So I was stuck with sealed.

@@Nostagefright Box is 6.75 cubic foot 36x18x18 sealed. Seems to tune in the high 30s low 40s.
@@leejarman872009 it’s definitely 36 the way it hits but thanks
Sealed box?
Yes
Why? I can think of so many better alternatives than these garbage "square" subs (most for cheaper with better output)
