  • Welcome to a one-shot of the 'You Awaken in a Strange Place' RPG, created by Jacob Andrews. Witness the improvised dystopian world, where the fast-food wars have left our player characters surviving in the Peak District, in the last bastion of non-chicken based convenient restauranting.

That was brilliant - 20/10 for everyone (30/10 for Tim bringing it altogether). It brought to mind Los Pollos Hermanos - Chester had the Gustavo Fring vibe but was just too nice in reality. Rather alarmed at Bakewell being home to fast food wars, werechickens and, at one point being called a ‘jungle’! Yay for a Sunday bonus too!

Loved this nice work everyone of thinking on the fly 👍 I'm now imagining Ronald with Lola in a red wheeled wagon collecting all the toys that survived the explotion

This game's setup feels a lot like hypnotism..
Annie why? I know it's horror, but there's a limit.
Muckbucks: a subtle reminder to the staff that they need to clean the restaurant.
It's good to know that being down to one customer doesn't stop them behaving like a complete Ronald.
I do appreciate the framing & lighting notes from TIm in this; really sets the scene.
This was great, & well done to everyone. The Colonel even felt more frightening than Lola in the end.
