Back around 2007 I was looking into converting my car from petrol to electric but the cost was going to be in the tens of thousands. Doing this in the US has never been cost effective hope that it will be affordable in Africa.
Wowww, these are the people Africa needs, full of innovation. Actions speak louder than words. He came back home with what he learnt outside and putting it into practice and not just talking. God bless him. He will surely go far...

Can we as ordinary africans forget our leaders and create an investment fund to invest in local talents. If every Ghanaian donates 10 cedis to invest into this idea, this man could rival tesla in the future and all those who donated (invested) will be shareholders .

There is potential. Before you know it he's manufacturing his own solar powered cars, doge coin was founded as a joke ,today it's one of the most important crypto currencies.never under estimate how big things can get! The tallest skyscraper in bogota columbia is crowd funded. Meaning a group of people came together and contributed money to build the skyscraper. This is an example of what I mean by if every Ghanaian contributes 10 cedis to invest in this man's idea. You might think it's nonsense but it's actually a good way to raise funds to invest in new talents.
@Mango Elephant my friend kantanka fully manufactures their own cars. They also started with assembly and now the produce and assemble every part from scratch in Ghana. Like I told you don't belittle people's efforts! He clearly said that his son went to study solar engineering and to seek investors so that they can make this big and he also said he tried to get the government to invest. That should tell you there is a bigger plan. This is 2021 everything is possible , if you don't believe they can rival tesla fine. Don't believe but don't belittle thier efforts because great things Begin with a single step.
@Mango Elephant kantanka now produces electric cars and they doubled their production last year because demand was growing. That is what we call growth! It's a process. today he modifies cars in a garage tomorrow he might become one of the biggest industry players, producing his own cars. And why can't I compare Ghana to Columbia and the USA?
