- We’re installing the HRG 2” lift spacer on a 2nd gen Honda Pilot to give it a much needed ground clearance.
Note: Please check and make sure the threads on the studs on the front spacers are clean and free of metal debris. We didn’t check before torquing down the nuts and one of them got stuck midway. We couldn’t tighten it or loosen it and it ended up snapping the stud. (Wished HRG would have check their products, before shipping them out) We were able to replaced the broken stud and install the kit with no other issues.
I just got a '14 Pilot with the intention of doing exactly this setup (same HRG lift, same size tires) to do car camping/overlanding. It's awesome to see that the install is simple and the tire fitment is perfect. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the DIY vid!!! Planning to install 3" HRG lift kit.
yo this is awesome i had no idea it was this easy. gonna do this to my 300k pilot and replace some struts... lol. solar panels, roof rack, and light bar(s) are also on the list... awesome to see people doing this stuff with their pilots
Liked + subscribed! I have a 2012 Pilot! I hope to see more videos related to the pilot in the near future 😁👍
AWESOME VIDEO
It looks so good.
Thank you so much for this video truly is one of a kind!! Great job kind sir 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥😎
Looks great!
Cool video...I'm doing this along with some new BILSTEIN'S. Planning a trip later this year for the Mojave Trail....I've done it multiple times in a stock height 99 CRV, but it dragged the center of the trail. Rocks were always on my mind and I had to be careful. I don't want that stress with an aluminum oil pan in the Pilot.
nice
Great video, what size tires do you have on it now? What size are you going to get with that added space?
Love the video would this work on 2015 pilots
Great vid, if I was to do this, should I get an alignment after or is it not necessary?
Are there other name brands you would recommend? Ty great video
Thanks for the Video, did you notice any effects on the MPG?
do we need a 1 inch subframe kit? i have a 06 and plan on lifting it 2 inches only. ty. cool vid! we need updates!
Have you revisited Willow Creek after the Lift? Would you have gone with the 3" lift instead of the 2" ?
Hi Sir. How are you? Just want to know your opinion on a replacement part for the rear shocks? Are TRP, monroe, KYB good relacement or should I buy the Original? My pilot is lifted 2inch at the rear. Thank you
Hi, thanks for the video. Just one question,
Did u do the lift on both front and back??
