This year Johnny and Milla take on Vancouver Island, British Columbia!
9 days of asphalt, dirt, camping and adventuring! Oh and dirt bikes!
The rough itinerary was:
Olympia, WA
Victoria, BC
Sombrio Beach
Tofino
Gold River
Sayward
Nanaimo
Victoria
Olympia
We took a lot of backroads, assisted by offline google maps and gaia gps. Feel free to ask any questions you might have!

I have watched thousands of traveling videos. This was the best. I'm 60 years old. I have two motorcycles, a Harley and a Honda Dual Sported XR650R...I wish my wife rode...she doesn't. I so envy seeing you two doing what you do here. I've been all over the western USA on my Harley. I've taken my dual sport a few places too but on the back of my van to each destination. Vancouver Island is an egg I need to crack...I live in Orting, Wa. Also: I quit listening to new music 20 years ago...gotta say, I enjoyed listening to all of your fresh tunes synced to beautiful road landscapes...the peak of Summer season...it doesn't get much greater than this. You two might consider taking the Anacortes Ferry to SE Alaska in June and early July...get off at each stop, explore, and get back on to next destination on the next ferry. DR350'S? They're older model's right? But they sure did you well. Prolly great fuel mileage too, and lighter weight when you dump it...I hope you guys can do more of this. I subscribed just now. I can't say enough of how inspiring it was to watch the both of you taking it all in. I like your style, and that's how I roll as well. No motels... Thanks for sharing!!!
Wow that's a big compliment! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. That's a great idea about Alaska. We already rode up the Casear from WA in 2018 and I have family in KTN so it would be great to do a moto trip up there. I'm thinking Prince of Wales island. Take care!

True Adventure riding.. Keep it up. That shot when you were up high and the water below in the fjords was full of clouds and fog.. Like out of a plane taking off and you were flying!

Here I am back again watching this fantastic video for the 4-5th time. I laugh every time the excavator wakes you guys up while you’re camped on the road. I mean seriously, what are the odds you pitch a tent in the middle of nowhere on the exact road and the exact day that he walks his machine up there ?!?!? 😂😂💪

Great video, thank you. I lived there for 25 years, 3 generations, my father build many roads out Franklin, Cameron, Sproat and Clayoquot Divisions. I'm doing a 10 day DRZ 400 trip in September. Looking for more partners... Can you tell me where you went swimming on that gravel bar beach on the lake 14:30.. was that Kennedy Lake?

Did y’all use stock sprockets and how’d it do on the longer highway stretches?
@@irislavender5889 We both rock the 16t front sprocket. We don't do any super gnarly stuff or very very long so it works out fine.

What an absolutely epic adventure!! I’ve lived on VI my whole life (58) and this vid makes me want to explore it more ! Great job on this video. The editing, the scenery, the bikes !! Outstanding. Makes me want to not be such a pussy when it comes to gates and comfort and such and just explore !! I’m going to share your trip on some of our local adv groups. Wicked !!!!

The music is all my buds. Go pro, insta 360 cam and a DJI drone were used. And an iphone
You guys did an amazing job with this video. My girlfriend and I are moving from Phoenix to Seattle next year and I cant wait to explore the outdoors on our dual sports there. Definitely cant wait to spend some time in the Vancouver islands now after watching this.
Did you guys have to take alot of ferries between the islands or was it mostly bridges? I know there are alot of different islands to explore there.
We just took the one from Port Angeles to vancouver island and back. But there's lots more islands for sure
It’s all ferries from Vancouver Island to the other gulf islands and to the mainland. No bridges.
What type of camera are you using for the off bike shots?
had a dji mini 3 drone, insta360 x2 and an iphone 12

Why don't you go pour your heart into some videos instead of talking crap on others work?
You ruined your video just like Mexico did when I went swimming with Dolphins. They recorded stupid music over all my conversations and turned it into an AD instead of a memory.
