Even though the Atreyu Crochet channel is for beginners, I think it's necessary to build upon the basics. The great thing about crocheting is that even the most complicated of patterns can still be broken down to the very basics of crocheting.
Don't ever approach a crochet pattern with doubt. Simply break down the pattern and approach it one stitch at a time. If a stitch is foreign to you, then find a UA-cam tutorial on it, learn the stitch, and resume with the pattern. Although our starting point is that of a beginner, it is also true that that is not our destination.
Happy Crocheting! :)
Great tutorial! I smiled at "slice the icing off the top of the cake"! As a newbie, I just want to say thank you! Well done!
Awesome! Thank you! You're very welcome! My goal is always to make it as understandable as possible for beginners and experienced crocheters alike.

Thank Atreya for another beautiful tutorial. I love how you take the time to show us exactly where to enter the stitches. I learn when you say slice the icing off the cake. You are going under the stitch. And thank you for using that darning needle to teach us. We appreciate your teaching of the art.
You're very welcome! I'm glad the way I teach is helpful. That's always the goal...to leave the viewer with no questions as to what they need to do. Thank you for the kind words!
I found you yesterday and I really enjoy learning different stitches with you. I love making scarfs.

Just came across your page and I’m so glad you’re still doing tutorials!!! I like the way you say “okay” and the cute ways you explain different stitches!!
Well, thank you very much! I think I had at least one person say they hate the fact that I say "okay" so much lol. Thanks for balancing the scales :)

Hello there from Fort Smith Arkansas..!!.. I love all your easy and fast hats and scarves..!!.. For the life of me, I can't do the C2C scarf..!! But I'll give it a go later..!!.. Thank you for all you do for us..!!
You're very welcome! I have a feeling that you will have success this time around. I've had many people tell me that they finally got it after watching my tutorial. Please let me know how it goes! :)
Thank you, Atreyu!!! Beautiful...This will be a pretty worked flat crochet kitten ears hat! 😺
You're very welcome! That sounds amazing :)
I love your channel ❤. I have a question please, do most projects begin with an even amount of chains? Are there exceptions with different patterns? Thank you!
Thanks! I wouldn’t say that. It depends on many things. And sometimes if when the initial number of chains ends on an even number, more important is the multiple. For instance, if you need a multiple of 4, while 6 is an even number, it doesn’t work because it’s not a multiple of 4. It also depends on which chain the first stitch is being worked into in row 1, which could also depend on the stitch type. For these reasons, I can’t say it’s usually even.
Good morning 🌄🌞 blessings ☕ awesome 👊🏾🌺🌹🧶
Thanks so much!🙂🙏🏾
What about SC, turn, stacked SC for a cleaner straight edge 📏❤❤... Or, not good????? 🤔
Of course you can do that! To crochet is to be creative. If that's how you want to design your scarf, go for it :)
What size yarn?
